  1. actually, I have no idea, I know for sure: these were the first 2 songs Square One Politik  sorry I was so in shock and awe. It was a beautiful blur :)
  2. ok I got the film ones scanned in and uploaded, so when you click the link, then go to sort order and pick 'date uploaded (newest first)' and there ya go. Thanks everyone for looking!
  3. Hey there, Got there an hour and half before gates were opened. When I stepped out of the car I could hear the band doing soundcheck, I about collapsed. This was my first Coldplay concert. My heart is still racing at this moment nearly 2 days after. But I will post more indepth stories here later. I know people like pictures and I took as many as possible. They are not in order, SO be sure to read the descriptions below each one so maybe you can figure the order out. Sorry it's confusing. some are blurry from no flash, and some are pretty much amazing captures, so be patient while browsing them, there are some real gems. I promise. http://marisa1.zoto.com/user/lightbox/CAT.0_REC.1/average_rating-desc/0-90 Oh by the way, I was in the Pit, front row against the gate, and center, no lie.
  4. :o :o :o :o :o :o THE HARDEST PART! my god my jaw dropped wehn I saw that!!! let's hope they keep that on the setlist for Cincinnati@!
  5. Crumble and fall, crumble and fall, crumble and fall like.... I am so lazy and I don't want to look through this to see if this one has already been mentioned this one. :/ sorry but I like lyric!
  6. thanks Arg8819, much appreciated! The live version I had was bad quality
  7. Giuly2E, Wow! you were certainly close! and your camera probably doesn't suck at all cuz mine does the same thing when it comes to low light and darkness. It tends to take long to focus and blurrs the image. don't be too upset, if your camera can take really good pictures, they probably won't even let you take it in! But thank you for the info and I will try my best to get some good ones or even catch the few cameras that people say they throw into the crowd! did they do that at the show you saw? :)
  8. oh wow! lovely pictures. May I ask how close you were? and what kind of camera did ya use? Just asking, because I wanted to estimate how my pictures will turn out if I take a digital and/ or a point and shoot camera when I am in the GA pit in Cincinnati.
  9. awww man, why did she have to go and do that? It just sounds strange to me!
  10. Elo, it sucks doesn't it? I mean this show was at a the Fox Theater which is a very very nice theater. It is perfect. It is intimate and it is just downtown about 15 miles away. I have read some of the reviews and it sounded amazing. I guess Will broke his drumstick during Politik and they played some new songs ( for the time being). So I assume you will be seeing them this time around? here is an article that shows a beautiful picture and gives a nice summary about it http://info.detnews.com/history/story/index.cfm?id=63&category=locations
  11. Loved reading everyone's story! Isn't it strange how a first impression is overlooked and a second chance is the best thing that ever happened? Well, my aunt had asked me to burn a CD and Trouble was one of the songs. I had known about Coldplay since they debuted, but was more a blossoming teeny bopper type at that time . So back to april 2003, as I was downloading, I decided, hmm let's see what this band has to offer and downloaded the whole lot. Fortunately, The Scientist was released as a single at that time and I happened to catch it late that night. I was blown away. Here was this handsome man, against a bright aqua background and a beautiful song playing in the back. :o So naturally I bought AROBTH and the next week Parachutes. and when I like something I go all out get crazy. So it was Coldplay everything. And I discovered more about them, appreciated their music and wouldn't stop talking about Jonny, Guy, Chris and Will. UNFORTUNATELY, I was not thinking clearly and didn't even check tour dates! They had been to my town and gone ( march 3, 2003) before I realized to check the tour dates. :x but oh well. I sulked and looked forward to the next time around. too bad it was 2 years later. I would died if they didn't release LIVE 2003 but I can't be mad now. That's why for the Twisted Logic Tour I was like " yeah I am making up for last year too!"

that is so cool and unusual, but congrats to you, I guess? lol not sure what to say. But I guess that is way dreams are, things morph, surroundings change and no one can really explain it! cute dream.

A Whisper is great. Especially the lyrics about "Night turns to day And I still have these questions Bridges will break Should I go forwards or backwards Night turns to day And I still get no answers" It definitely grows on ya. ;)
  14. Amsterdam gets my vote. I guess I just love to find a song on an album that will not be released as a single for the band, and I end up enjoying it better than those that are songs released as singles. I mean The Scientist is equally as beautiful, but it's like, only the true fans who get the CD will hear those songs and cherish them more, and can enjoy them greater at the live shows. and personally, I the lyrics are just more.... more what I don't know but I still love Fix you. and Sir Raptor essentially finished my thoughts. :)
  15. I actually am excited! :D I hear it's supposed to be revamped? so who know whether or not it will even sound the same as the live version I have heard before. I mean take "Talk" for example: I loved the leaked version and equally enjoy the album version. In my opinion, if we are talking about Coldplay, there can be no wrong. ;)
  16. is that from the end of the concert on the Live 2003 Dvd? I think they were playing the song after everything's not lost from parachutes. not sure what it's called and made it into a grand finale. very beautiful!
  17. Swallowed in the Sea, I just can not get enough of it! A Message is also great, and I expecially love the live version that Chris and Jonny did for the Edge radio program. But I truly can not wait to go crazy when they play Swallowed in the Sea live. Such a LONG WAIT till Aug 9th!

Hey, Don't get too upset over this! To be honest I was overly excited the whole summer before college and it was all I wanted to talk about. and once good friend of mine who was in her 2nd year had warned me that she was the same way, excited and ready to go, but the night before she left to move in, she cried her eyes out because she was suddenly not ready and had all these regrets about even going. everything turned out fine and she is even graduated now, but I just laughed that off and forgot about it. But sure enough, the night before I was to leave, it hit me. " umm hello marisa, your childhood is now officially OVER!" I was a mess. I was in tears and so many emotions were going on. Fortunately, it gave me a new perspective. It was just that last breath before the jump. It was like the turning point in which I realized things are gonna be a bit different from now on. Everything had turned out great. I love college, it can be stressful at times but everything smoothes over. I think you are just getting this last minute realization and it is totally natural. hang in there, and trust me it's not that bad. you are gonna meet so many new ppl. some you will love, some you will hate, some will amaze you with his or her intelligence and some will amaze you with his or her stupidity and ignorance, but you will find someone to connect to! you don't have to follow the crowd! Good Luck! :)

oooo I love it! I love it! I love it! however that was not my initial reaction  I agree, the lyrics are great, the up tempo piano is wonderful and I truyl hope they perform it live this summer.
  20. I have watched SOS at least 4 times on VH1 this week. and as for MTV I have only caught a commercial on the end of a show that was promoting The Leak and their upcoming performance for the channel.
  21. thanks for up to the minute new songs and new downloads! yeah I think I better get to ebay and buy me this copy also. the new mystery song is great. mm i love the guitar. :)
  22. Swallowed in the Sea really stands out to me. WOw just WOw, chris' voice just flows with those great lyrics. Everything sounds just awesome. I soo enjoyed the live tracks and I can definitely tell that the band puts a lot of emotion into their shows. and after hearing these album tracks I am completely awed. I just really really love what I am hearing. great job guys. lots of hard work really pays off!
