  6. didn't see Debs. Had an email waiting when we got in tonight
  7. Debs was in the same block as us last night, and we never knew!! She was same block tonight.
  8. wow that's ace! where were you sat? that's amazing :D welcome to the board :) My camera seemed to love Will tonight. There are quite a few not too blurry pics of him. I'll upload them in the 12th thread in a bit. the shows on the 2008 tour have all had similar support acts. Jay-Z & Girls Aloud are support for some of the 2009 stadium shows.
  9. 'Fraid not. My phone bill took a battering last night. And sorry to say I'm glad I wasn't doing live updates, tonight outweighed last night by a million squillion times and I was having the best time :D the show has helped, I'm on such a buzz right now. Pete was stood the other side of the table, I might have pushed it into him as I sprawled. :embarassed: Last night's concert was quite strange. And we were wondering about the people who were sitting down last night :\ , which very much seems to have contributed to the general mood of Thursday's show. Tonight, pretty much everyone was stood from the outset and the vibe was great, with Chris quite obviously feeding off the energy. we couldn't get out :stunned: for some reason the aisles either side of our block just didn't move for ages plus Mr BusyBeeBurns may very well have a treat (albeit a reasonably distant treat) for Phil fans :D We were sat on the lower tier about 3/4 of the way down the length of the arena. Whilst we were sat waiting for them to set up the stage & load the roadies into the ceiling, I spotted a certain roadie named Miller lurking with the sound guys in the middle of the arena. Unfortunately, he must be psychic because as I pointed him out to Ian, he moved off quite quickly to the front. I wondered if he might come back so in between watching the expolits of those poor roadies trying to reach the hanging chairs in the ceiling, I kept my eye on the soundcheck guys. And guess who I spotted as he joined them, you guessed it, the one and only Mr Phil Harvey!! So Ian got his camera out and tried to take a few distance photos of him. It may or may not have worked, but I'm sure Ian will post any new Phil photos shortly :D
  10. mine too. was going to google later and see if I could change it, but it generall looks like gobbledegook when I try those types of sites
  11. Stop being scared & be proactive. I know how scary it is, but your best option now is to head for A&E, & forget the GP. They can assess you in A&E, and if they think it is the asthma they'll either try you on a reliever & see if that works, or hook you straight up to the nebuliser. And if they think its not, they'll be able to run tests to sort you out. If you don't feel like that, the other option is to ring NHS direct. You'll speak to a receptionist, who'll refer you to a nurse, who'll put you on to a doctor. If they feel from what you say that its urgent, they'll tell you to go to hospital. Which is why I suggested A&E first, saves you struggling for breath for too much longer & having to try to explain everything on the phone. Plus, with breathing problems, you generally get triaged at A&E to a higher priority anyway.
  12. Coldplay's UK Tour Hits Manchester: Exclusive Photos Coldplay's UK arena tour arrived in Manchester last night (December 11th) – and you can see exclusive photographs on Gigwise. The band wowed a sold out crowd at the Manchester Evening News Arena. Dressed in their distressed military uniforms, the group rattled through tracks from their new album 'Viva La Vida and Death and All His Friends'. But it was Coldplay's more established hits such as 'Yellow' and 'Fix You' that created the biggest response from the crowd. Their tour continues tonight (December 12th) in Manchester before arriving in London on Sunday (December 14th). You can see highlights from the concert in Manchester below or click here to see extensive coverage. http://www.gigwise.com/news/48179/Coldplays-UK-Tour-Hits-Manchester-Exclusive-Photos
  13. arggghhh! the dreaded lurgy has caught up with me. today I am Death and you are all my friends :laugh3: I have a nose to rival rudolph, my face looks like a hamster's and I knackered my knee last night (think it might have been when the stoopid man knocked into me and sent me sprawling over the Oxfam stall).
