I'd like to see a coldplay dvd of the same quality and level of "U2 - Elevation 2001 - Live In Boston " With the full concert on the first disc, the second one contains a wealth of superb extras. For starters there's the "Another Perspective", which enables you to watch the concert from alternative points of view--the "Fancam" (from the heart of the crowd ensconced within the heart-shaped walkway) and the "Directorcam" (from the production office where director Hamish Hamilton creates his masterpiece). There's also a Road Movie, which gives a time-lapse photography look behind the scenes of a day on the road, and an insight into how to turn an empty, cold impersonal indoor arena into an intimate, spectacular concert venue. It also includes some alternative live takes of some of the key tracks from the album, including a fantastic performance of "Beautiful Day" from the rooftops of Dublin. With the concert offered in a choice of sound ratios (Dolby 5.1, PCM Stereo) the songs sound even greater.

Well.....they could release a live album of the firts leg without a problem but i can't understand why they don't want it. Because releasing such a thing now would be pointless! They've already recorded a lot of footage on this tour and will be putting together the best DVD they can possibly offer the fans. These things don't happen overnight. With a little patience, we will eventually be able to buy something packed with detail - rather than a quick release which would no doubt be labelled as ' a scam'. Honestly, they would get more complaints if they did the latter. How do you know they've already recorded a lot of footage from this tour ? And by the way.....there's nothing wrong if they release a dvd about a show in a venue like in the one for Muchmusic in toronto for example.

They could release an acoustic live album and dvd and sell millions of it in just a few months but it looks like they're scared about their releases. There's something wrong in their management i guess....

In an intimate small venue the sound is much better.......and by the way..... indoor the lights are better too.

Indoor in a small and intimate venue or in a big one like the madison square garden ? Indoor the sound and the lights are much better...... Outdoor....there are a lot of cool venues,which one is the best in your opinion ?

.....their most innovative song EVER! From the lyrics to the piano chords and the guitar riff,the atmosphere is really special and weird.....if this is their new direction of sound......it's AMAZING!

Are u kidding me ? :lol: It's not about the money,he could try new and different things as a solo artist and there's nothing wrong.

From the last ezine...... How many hours of footage do you have of the band ?(Does it rival Guy's alleged collection that never surfaced!). I'm sure that Guy's footage will see the light one day and i know it'll be great,cos he's a creative fella. I have approaching 100 hours of stuff from the Rush Of Blood Tour. Matt Mcginn(intrepid guitar rodie)filmed vast amounts of the recording of the new album.That,combined with Guys footage and mine,means we may well need to buy a shed just to store the tapes soon.... Plus everyone on the tour has a digital camera.I collected near 8000 pictures on the last tour,once i'd got everybodys stuff together. Doubtless there will be even more this time around.

Take a look @ Sting's career......he had a wonderful career with the police and as a solo artist. Why would have to be a problem for chris martin ? ? ? ?

What do y'all think about a Chris Martin solo album with just songs similar to "Everything not lost", "See You Soon","Amsterdam" ?
