I basically came in touch with Coldplay music when I was struggling in a relationship and doubting about everything you could think of. Before that, I knew Coldplay from the radio but it never really reached me. I think that struggling part was the key to unlock the power of the symplistic lyrics and the instinctively basic chord progressions. I found a deeper layer in songs such as Talk, Speed of Sound and Politik (that song was revolutionary for me). Then the X&Y album, and especially the song White Shadows, gave me the most precious life insights. Suddenly, I knew all the answers, after listening to one single studioalbum. Chris, Jonny, Will, Guy and Phil have been the most inspiring human beings for me ever since. I've been following Coldplay for a couple of years now and I appreciate everything they make, whether my ears do like it or not. I love to see them having fun and that's what counts.
