Hmmmmm No Shows in MSG? The biggest arena in the world!!??

Just bought 'Live 2003' recording and mixing is so sweeeet. You guys think they can come out with a good mix of the MSG show in the future?

To all those bashers... Shane is the highest wicket-taker in the world and a nice person despite his controversies. Many english cricketers have spoken of him in high regard. His performance in the recent Ashes series speaks for his stature as a world-class bowler. So I am nothing but thrilled that Chris and Shane shared a few words. Both of them are greats in their own right.

Also guys... notice in The Scientist.. just around 5:14 in that gig clip right after when Chris says "Thank you so much.."... the light little oooh oooh tune is so heavenly.. This is why they are Gods...

Did anyone notice how Chris struggled to hold up his voice during white shadows? I just listened to camille's gig clips and I could not really hear anything..his voice was a goner..

PLEAASE CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT CHRIS IS SAYING EXATCLY BEFORE EVERYTHING's NOT LOST????? I remember he said something abt being confident and singing along and not worrying abt what the person next to us thinks.... This was the best moment for me... the girl next to me kept giving me dirty looks as I was singing along to the songs before.. and I started becoming a lil self-conscious... she was also abt to tell me to not sing along... but when chris said this... I roared at the top of my voice.. kind of like a "fuck you!" statement to her!!!!! WHat are the exact words he is saying.. it ends with "...cos we are the best band in the world" PLEASE!!!!!! SOMEONE?

Yea.. I think I had the NJ show on my notepad as my "compare to" set list :) Nonetheless, 9/7 was the most balanced show so far :lol: Can anyone tell me what happened during one of the songs in the front of the stage when chris went to Jonny? did he whisper something in his ears or do something to him that made him smirk..? and then he put his arms around chris.. Also... there were some lyrics changed: -(blah blah blah).. up there...(blah blah blah).. madison square for Politik(I think) and also another lyric that rhymed with "hurricane" I also want to know what he said abt Jonny. Its funny that he changed the lyrics in one part of 'in my place' that went "Guy, please dont go solo" :D

Frank, I can totally sense what you are saying. I am really glad for you and others just like you who have new happiness in their lives and have stood the times with the touching music of coldplay. This is the only band where the songs impact me "musically". I mean it sort of traverses my entire body from toe to head and enriches the sensory nerves with every sweet and powerful song. The emotion is something like a sweet sadness or a touching seriousness.. im blabbering

Well the set list was not really the same for sure... These were the changes -Swallowed in the sea instead of Wha If during the Encore -No Amsterdam but Everything's not Lost instead -No Green Eyes but Dont Panic instead So we had three songs from parachutes.. so that makes it more balanced than the other previous ones... :D I never even imagined they would consider playing Everything's not lost.. one of the most under-rated songs

Just got back from my first ever Coldplay concert. I dont want to make this too emotional... .. but after a long time in my life I felt sheer joy, euphoria, happiness.. and the 'on top of the world' feeling...inspite of all the shit that I am taking now.. people in my section did not know most of the songs(since they were from x&y and I guess they have not really bought the cd).. I was screaming.. yelling.. and ofcourse singing along to every single line.. I know ppl around me were so pissed off.. I did feel a little bad abt it.. but hey, chris himself mentioned something like.. dont worry abt the person next to you and just sing along.. dont be shy.. and feel confident.... What did Chris do when he went next to Jonny? think said something to him into his ears and Jonny started laughing(actually.. smiling... or even cracking up and hiding his laughter)I think this was during In My Place
