At the very least better than Everyday life.. Everyday life could've been a great double album if they chose what songs should be on the album from that era correctly they omitted great songs in favour of fillers

Coldplay's Double album was bloated with fillers... I consider their Prospekt's march edition of Viva la Vida is their true Double album

I disagree with you on Bani adam it's a pretty piano piece,.usually their interludes are boring but this deserves a spot on the album and it ties with the album concept, They could have included Flags, Famous old painters and Swapped Broken with Broken blues..the problem with Coldplay recently is that they choose Concept over quality that's probably why a song like wedding bells was left out for A song like Guns

I don't see why is it a problem that they didn't finish the album yet? They have 5 months before the release they just need the singles to be 100% done the rest can still be reworked..not drastically obviously.

Hopefully the delay of Moon Music bought them time to have a progress on the movie i think musically it's almost done most of these MOTS era were written during the pandemic.

She's working on the next one already.. That could be the musical and it can be self titled album, i feel they might not release the movie with the album maybe they will release them separately.

No i have not, but the intro of this demo sounds similar to the sound checked song, I've been searching for that song in all the leaks hoping that it's an actual song on Moon Music not just a random jam

The GS version that got released recently is good too probably the 2nd best version of that song imo. I think the band is struggling with the chorus they changed it with each version

I don't think they will split and i don't think the other band members would launch a solo career they are too shy for that and Chris publicly said that he won't work solo they will stay as a band(hopefully) and will still make music but not long LPs maybe short EPs or Collaboration. They will keep touring together as well

He didn't say they will retire he just said they will stop making albums and a catalogue of 12 albums is very reasonable number. They are in their mid 40s now by the time the self titled album comes out they will be in their 50s it makes perfect sense imo
