  1. You pretty much hit the nail on the head there; that's what he said basically on Sunday. Except after the pathetic singalong, Chris said "that was the best I've ever heard it" which is a joke to me...since I've been to a show where the crowd was loud as can be during the singalong part of the scientist, and he didnt even have to give such a speech...everyone just knew to sing cuz they were real fans. real fans know that when the artist stops singing and it's a really good part of the song, that means the crowd is supposed to take over and connect...i mean, sometimes they even turn the mike towards the crowd
  2. About that parking...a 1.5 hr exit is not much to cry about....I remember being stuck for over 3 hours after A Perfect Circle during the 13th Step tour... You justr have to pop in X&Y and have everyone in your car rock out to enjoy the 1.5 hr wait!
  3. White Shadow, have no fear...I have been to Coldplay performances stateside where the crowds were as enthusiastic as in the Live 2003 DVD. When I went to that performance in New York it was insane. You don't have to make a goal of going to the UK for a Coldplay concert, just make a goal of seeing them somewhere else in this country. I don't what it is in the OC, it's just pathetic. Very sad and frustrating.
  4. dude, trust me...next time u go to a coldplay concert, do it outside of california...your whole mentality about the best concert uv ever been to will change completely... people will be full of energy and no shame, and you will not feel embarrassed about rocking out either.
  5. Dude, f*** how they enjoy music. When you listen to Coldplay Live, you MOVE your body cuz the music is ripping through your soul. Artists like Coldplay shouldn't even give them the pleasure of playing there.
  6. Alright, I'm originally from the East Coast, and I've seen Coldplay perform twice before I moved here, on both of their previous worldwide tours. Both times the crowd was explosive. The second time I saw Coldplay, the crowd was so intense we managed to get two encores of of them, they even played B-side material cuz they ran out of album stuff. But last night I saw The Twisted Logic Tour in the "O.C." among fake plastic boobettes, surfer wannabes and escalade-driving middle-agers. The crowd was pathetic, Chris had to basically beg them to sing during The Scientist, and you couldn't even here anybody. People even sat through all the slow songs. PATHETIC. I have never been to a Coldplay concert where people stood lifeless through YELLOW! When those lights come bursting through the stadium you get up and jump, or at least throw your arms in the friggin air!!! People were leaving early during the last song to beat parking!!!! And we were lucky enough to even get one encore with the pathetic 20 second clapping of this OC crowd. Bottom line: NEVER SEE A CONCERT IN THE OC, it's PATHETIC. They can't even show respect for the greatest band in the world, I can't imagine being at a concert with a lesser artist...
