  1. Anybody else here go the show last night in Albuquerque? It was so unbelievable awesome. It was my first time seeing Coldplay. I've loved them for a few years now, but hadn't gotten a chance to see them live. Finally they showed up in my hometown. My husband (also a big fan) and I arrived at the venue just 30 minutes before the gates opened. There were about 30-40 people waiting around to go in. We figured they all also had pit tickets and were all getting ready for a spot on the front rail. After being ready to just hang on the back rail of the pit because of the amount of people, we were pleanstly surprised when we got down to the pit area and there were only about 10 people ahead of us. Everybody else was staking their claim on the lawn area. So, for my first coldplay show I was front rail. I couldn't believe it! The venue was quite empty all the way until Coldplay came on. Even through the opening act there were only about 30 people in the pit. We were a little worried, but it filled up, and the crowd seemed to respond very well to the band. You don't hear much about Coldplay in this town, but the people showed up and Chris seemed pleasantly surprised. I'm still a bit hyped up to give a review of each song, but it was all wonderful. I jumped so high when they started Politik that I banged my knee into the railing. Oh well :D Anyway, it's taking all my energy not to hop in the car and drive the six hours to Phoenix to see the show again tonight. Thanks Coldplay for a wonderful time!! They not only met, but exceeded my expectations!
  2. Thanks guys...I'm so excited I could burst right now. Been waiting for 3 years to see this band! Hopefully the crowd here won't disappoint me. It's a small amphitheatre and even this morning you could still buy front section tickets.
  3. yeah, i called the venue and they said small, non-professional camera, but when I asked if small digital is ok, she didn't seem to really know. I will be down in the front pit, so just wasn't real sure if people that have been to a few shows have been allowed cameras.
  4. Hey all, going to my very first Coldplay concert tonight here in Albuquerque NM. Just wondering if the band is allowing digital cameras in? Anybody else out there take pics at a show with digital?
