SIENNA..what is the word with the Tampa show?? I have emailed.. Ford Amp, ticketmaster, coldplay.com, cellardoor and 97X and I can't get a straight answer or any answer about if they are coming sometime in the next 2 weeks or if they are coming in the spring of 2006..I really hope they can add one more show for late Sept or early Oct.

That is correct. They said they are not making up the show they just cancelled in Bham an you should get your money back for that Sept. show..they said the venue was booked..so who knows about tampa

Birmingham folks don't get excited they are not rescheding the show there because the venue is not available..that is what the coldplay.com latest news said. Nothing about tampa yet..hopefully they will fit this one show in before they head home

Played nearly 40 songs for almost 3 hours..simply incredible.. and he didn't cancel (there is a novel idea coldplay)...if you get a chance to see him go..there would be no U2...no Coldplay without McCartney. Anyway hope Chris has his stamina back and won't have to cancel anymore shows..see ya next Spring boys! ;)

listen..all these people that say they will be back didn't have the show cancelled on them while they were sitting in the parking lot at the ford amp. 2 hours before the show..i am not angry with coldplay..just disappointed in the way things were handled..now if they screw us again in the spring then they move to the bottom of my Ipod playlist

apology?..i forgot..i canceled on them..you are crazy..how would you feel if you had to wait another 9 months to see a band you have had tixs for a long time..the right thing to do would be to make it up at the end of this tour..glad they are coming back..but that is a heck of a long time to wait..

they better play for 3 hours that is all i got to say..but again..if your show that you have been waiting for for a LONG time got cut..you would be upset too..now I have to wait until the spring when I bought the tickets last may..that is almost a full year of waiting..that is why it sucks

because I gotta wait until next year to see it..not happy

This is what I just received from the Ford Amptheather in Tampa about the latest...enjoy Jay, I sympathize with your frustration. This was an anticipated show by all. Unfortunately, I have no further information at this time other than they are working to reschedule. As for our website, as soon as there is something to announce, I will make sure to have it posted immediately. What is on our website is what is on Coldplay's. They are asking to please hold onto your tickets. For further information I would suggest going to Coldplay's website and check out their Latest News section. Actually, Alabama is postponed as well, not cancelled. There also is an update from his Dr. on there as well. Let's just all wish him a speedy recovery, so he can come back and give the quality performance you deserve to hear. Traci

it is easy to say be patient when your show didn't get chopped.. i bought tickets back in June to see them in Sept. Feb. is a pretty long time to wait..they just need to come out and say what they are doing..so we can get our money back...i understand about people getting sick..but they have plenty of days before they head home in Oct. to add two shows that are pretty close to each other

no way...they won't be back for a long time..it is just frustrating

No...Martin himself was "cured" in Miami the night before the Tampa show bysome doctor..they wouldn't cancel a Miami show..so the next two got cut..I am not asking them to stop now and fit us in..but come back for two nights in the beginning of October before heading home..if they don't they won't return for three years..that is what sucks..when we too have been waiting a long time and TPA and Bham have to take one for the team..

of course Martin gets cured for the big Miami show and is again ready to sing for the St.Louis show...I know Tampa was a sold out show...they need to do the right thing and add these 2 shows on the end of the tour..if they don't then they move way down on my priority list..at least I get to see McCartney tomorrow night..to be honest to you..I am still pretty bitter about all of this

I am sure Tampa will be next to get chopped..that really sucks about Birmingham..if they cut Tampa too then I will be very pissed..U2 would NEVER do that to their fans folks..

according to the offical website coldplay.com..it has been postponed....I know man..that is exactly how I felt last night..my wife and I were so disappointed

Birmingham folks..we Tampa folks feel your pain! I sure hope the boys make a Southern swing before jumping across the pond..The only thing that is calming me down is the fact I get to see Paul McCartney Saturday at the St. Pete Time Forum..that should hold me over until Coldplay comes back through town..hope that he feels better

needlesstosay..there are a lot of disappointed folks in Central Florida today. My wife and I were bummed the entire night after we got the news...i just hope they do the right thing and come back..after all the show was almost a sellout..only thing left was lawn seats...man this sucks! i would be not happy if Tampa was the only show that had to take one for the team and didn't get a return date

I pray they come back to Tampa before too long.. a lot Florida fans will be really upset if they don't
