No more reliable, neither Ebay nor StubHub ever handles the tickets, both are simply bulletin boards that match buyers with sellers, you can get ripped off on both, and you have various levels of recourse on both.

I'm flying in for the Pearl Jam shows, please let me know if you have an extra for Monday night, could trade for a great DMB single to either Atlanta or WPB. Thanks, -Peter

Coldplay.com doesn't sell the tickets, TIcketmaster and Live Nation do, I'm going by their info. Like Atlanta goes on sale in two weeks where Coldplay.com still says next week, but will check Ticketmaster next week just in case ;-)

Stubhub doesn't "sell" tickets, they are just a message board like Ebay that matches a buyer with a seller, so you have no idea about the reliability of the seller. Stubhub will give you your money back if the seller doesn't send you the tickets you bought, after jumping through several hoops and proofing you are in the right.
