  1. Just now downloading this show....great to see a tape came from it. I'm so used to the Dave Matthews Band community where all American shows are taped and available via BitTorrent the next day. Whoever taped it has done well. I haven't heard the quality, but I can tell he/she is not a newby at taping by the txt file.
  2. Thanks! My first time able to use my manual film Nikon in this kind of circumstance. Learned a lot, photography wise. I barely got the camera in....kind of lucky.
  3. Thanks....I'm used to the DMB community more than the Coldplay community, so I wasn't sure. Taping is a religion in the DMB community...kind of like the Dead and Phish. I knew that sets don't change from night to night, so I purposely haven't looked at the setlist over the past year so I could be surprised (love that element). I really was surprised by Billie Jean. I was more blown away that it sounded AWESOME!
  4. I took two 24 rolls of Fuji Superia X-tra 800. A lot of them were blurry, but I think I did pretty decently from Section 5. You can view the rest at my flickr account: http://www.flickr.com/photos/9272896@N03/sets/ Enjoy! Blurry a bit, but hey...still looks cool. Stage B My Favorite of the night
  5. Do people "tape" Coldplay shows and if so, does anyone know if this show was taped?
  6. Man, that's a short show....I'm so used to DMB shows that are around 3 hours long. Been awhile since I've seen someone else (as a headliner). Definitely excited for the show! First "date" for my wife and me since our daughter was born last October!
  7. What time should Coldplay be taking stage? 8:30? And does Charlotte have a noise curfue on Friday nights? I know during the week it is to 11.
  8. That's kind of what I'm thinking. Thanks for the confirmation on Coldplay's stance. All my lenses are single focal length lenses, so it looks even more "amateurish" I would think. I'll be slightly stage left beside SB area. So I want to at least have a 105mm but was thinking about either my 135mm or my 180 as a secondary. I really really want to bring my real camera there....this is the kind of photography I've been wanting to do for a while.
  9. My wife and I are headed to this show....our first Coldplay show, am very excited. It's her first concert ever...I go to lots of shows, but she's never been to one....glad we're going together. Got a question, does anyone know anything about camera policy? I know that Verizon allows cameras if bands do, and I'm pretty sure Coldplay does, but I want to know specifics. I'd like to bring my Nikon SLR and maybe two lenses, though I'm not sure if it'd be considered a professional camera. It's an old film FG and I can't find anything anywhere about this. Thanks for the help and looking forward to the show!!
