Got it! The closest village is called Tilford and its where the opening scenes of the Gladiator was filmed too :)

Thanks Larry, I live in Surrey myself but wanted to find out where the crash scene was filmed. Farnham is just down the road so I may go out driving looking for it. I found out it was filmed in Surrey from a web site where there was an interview with the director (cant remember the web site now) but he only mentioned Surrey - no further detail, I know of Lower bourne, south of Farnham
