Wow you people suprise me. I've been an Oasis fan my entire life, and I actually became a fan of coldplay because of them..people that like Oasis generally like Coldplay. So my opinion is ths I'll always be an Oasis fan to me they're the best, they have NOT just made 2 good albums... if you just look at Oasis's albums they're not all that great it's Oasis' B-sides that make them a brilliant band.. Songs like "The Masterplan", "Talk Tonight", "Acquiesce","Half The World Away", "Whatever" never actually made it to an album but they are by far some of the best songs Oasis has. Coldplay...wow do they have potential, I can't tell you how much I love "A Rush of Blood to The Head" it's a great album and will be a Classic. I believe you can put it up against any Oasis album and say it's just as good or better, but you have to factor in...Oasis left out all these great songs for B-sides. Coldplay is a great band and in time they may be just as good as Oasis, especially if their next album is as good as the last 2, the question will be can the stand the test of time...which I think they can.
