  4. hehe :D i bet you're one of those cool guys who set the trends!
  5. i just buy all sorts of shit really... i'm blissfully unaware of all passing trends etc so sometimes what i wear is deemed 'cool', sometimes it isn't... i've been told i dress like paul from interpol, although i'm still not sure exactly what he dresses like- aside from vinita's help :)
  6. i do find many recording artists today like to exploit certain areas of 'teenage angst' which is a recipe for disaster. for example- many 'nu-metal' bands exploit their apparent 'emotional problems' which give young impressionable kids the idea that it's cool to be fucked up. 13 year old nirvana fans- if you don't hate yourself and want to die, you can't be like kurt. however, it's not that this is necessarily fault of the artists. cobain had serious problems- and if he hadn't confronted demons and opened his soul on record, his band wouldn't have been one of the most important ever to grace the earth. i think this is largely to do with immaturity of the masses rather than fault of the artists, but what can we do about that? it's a tough one to call... when you see kids killing themselves quoting papa roach in the note... it's quite disturbing. vinita is right though, everyone is responsible for their actions. besides, one band alone is not enough to inspire a massacre.
  7. aww... thankyou vinita :) but pssstt... you're daft! :P :P
