I Read the News Today Oh Boy.... When I started this thread, or what ever it is, (my mind in space / the space between your ears), I had no idea what so ever that the world would become so completely fucking haywire so God damn fast. Whether it is the world economy / circus or the global warming button, it really is clear to me that mankind could use a good stiff spiritual intervention. What cha goona do when the stuff runs out? I personally believe that this world is on the brink of environmental cataclysm which will force us to co-operate for our own collective planetary survival. Maybe that is the grand lesson / plan here. How do we teach the arrogant, self deluded humans to be more human? Bring down and destroy everything they believe in and trust? We humans have everything upside down, and we have ourselves convinced that anything else would be like saying that the earth is not flat... but roundish. Which, as every civilized person knows, even through the worst alcohol hangover, would be shear heresy, right? Wrong, because this world is about to bite back hard and we are the target. There are no wild bee colonies left in North America, for starters. What's the big deal with no plant life fertilization you say? Multiply that scenario by a thousand other more severe and bizarre events now going on in Nature, the consequences of which we do not understand at all, because we only see the iceberg above the water. We are in effect, "future blind". And yesterday, the lead scientist with the Inter-governmental panel on Climate Change says that, oops, because we did not factor in the massively huge amounts of COAL which China and India etc have burned since 2001, then every prediction /model we have made about future weather intensity / frequency events are... useless. Hang on to that blanket, Charlie Brown. Maybe James Lovelock is right and humanity is metaphorically akin to being on a pleasure craft, in party mode, about two feet from the edge of Niagara Falls, blissfully unaware of the problem they face (snap back combing form nature), as a response to the imbalance we have caused. And maybe it will be 1957 forever? That would be very cool indeed, but as we all know Arnold Shawartzenager changed all that with T1. The rude unknown future comes and smacks you in the face before we ever see clearly. Maybe this is Gods way of teaching man that only love is of value in the end. We leave with what we came with, nothing more and nothing less, except the love we shared in life. Only in this fantastic dream called life, which is powered by love alone, can we actually get to be what we dreamed we could be, as in, God incarnates as you, so you can experience"life", and into that life you will be born and learn a lesson. In that lesson you will find meaning, and in that meaning you will find peace. The peace which has always been, existing forever, in the last place you would ever think to look... Inside of YOU. Because everything else is only scenery, part of the set. Even the jewelry, it's just costume. When you can never again feel sadness, loss, empathy or ever cry again, then you are dead. Drifting.... So is the world in a state of free drift now? Is any one person or group of people acting in any way possible, is that going to alter our collective future, whatever that may be? It is ironic and extremely disturbing that, during the time England gets it's most severe snow levels in 18 years and the next day gets all of February's normal rain fall in one day, the drought and fire in Australia have now made cooking with a stove redundant. Is Nature trying to tell us something? Is this economic meltdown a metaphor or barometer for what is occurring INSIDE NATURE, where we cannot see with our SCIENCE? Is this not really Nature saying to humankind: "The game is over and now you must look into the mirror of your own existence and ask yourself... why are you alive NOW? Why are you now a conscious entity in a human body, and what is your role in life on this world? More of the same, let's all compete and hope everything works out in the end? Let's all just settle for a second rate, permanantly happiness challenged world? Darwin was wrong, it's not survival of the fittest, it's survival of the co-operative, as in a wolf pack co-operates to make a kill and survive. They do not compete, not even separate packs. Somewhere along the line, the "marketmind" got a hold of this idea, and immediately saw the ultimate "philisophical camouflage" for their economic nightmare they have been "refining" for decades... Until we now down loaded the doomsday version... wallstreetchaos1.oops. I heard a very good interview with James Lovelock who believes the world is a conscious being, and who also believes it is way to late to change our environmental fate, no matter what we do now. I happen to believe that we have already melted way too much polar ice (40% north and south / and that is from underneath, and above the water line), such that it has now disturbed the oceanic current conveyor, which among other things, will bring cold to Europe . Grow food? Sell snow? And just recently they announce that perhaps one or a few or... Arctic (or Antarctic) ice shelves are about to go swimming and instead of the world oceans rising by only a few centimetres here and there (so don't worry), they now think that some areas will rise significantly (7m). A big part of the problem with the previous "melting understanding" was that no one realized that the already frozen ice is acting as a gravity anchor for the worlds oceans right now. Take that anchor away and oceans will gravitate to... your shore line!. Oops, it seems that the wizards of Expansion failed to factor in PLANETARY FORCES in their economic prognostications, half truths and deception they hold up as reality for everyone else believe in. I know I sound a little negative at times but we have been using the atmosphere, land and oceans as an industrial sewer for over 200 years now and I just don't think we can get out of this caper without some serious collateral damage. 20 million Chinese factory workers are now going back to work at no job and millions of "new" Chinese workers are looking to land their first "no job". Here is a hint: the primary "product" of the old system was to create profit, a secondary result was "jobs". Why not have a system where the primary purpose is creative / cooperative employment, and profit gets nailed to a cross and burned alive. Have a pleasant Economic Depression. I'm No Psychic but... I seem to remember writing something here recently about the ocean currents screwing up and that will lead to colder weather for Europe and .... The British Isles? I could rent myself out as as psychic now with my track record. Soon I will be walking on water... Or, on Jellyfish so thick in the water you can walk on them, like you apparently could walk on the salmon run in early eastern Canda. My how times have changed. What is this economic meltdown about anyway, is it a metaphor for something? Why is it that man is continually unhappy when he is perpetually at the center of paradise? Not enough wobbly pop or pills? I guess the reason for that is not everyone sees this world as a paradise, and maybe only people who for some reason feel close to an internal God, might feel that. Because I think that unless you are able to actually have an internal experience of that actual power, by whatever means (music is good / if the universe is one vibration as some mystics and scientists now think, then music might actually be a way to feel God, or at least, feel GOOD. I think it is a common experience for many people who practice some kind of art form, where your mind and you cease to be two things, and you just feel good, because you have turned on the internal feel good tap, simply by concentrating the mind. It's too simple. So maybe if I was some beer swilling yahoo I wouldn't see what I do, which isn't much really, I only look at what's happening and then make a statement about what may happen. But I am always surprised when some new freak weather event happens. Which I predicted, a week after it happened. But really, what if we have really screwed up the ocean current conveyor with all that fresh water, which has a higher specific gravity than salt water. Does anyone know what happens when you disturb the orderly harmonic existence of the substance covering 9/10ths of the planets surface? That is one shit load of water. And, get this, there is a pile of plastic twice the size of Texas, free floating in the ocean somewhere out there. Bird Island maybe? I don't, do you, do they? The US sub mariner geological survey released formerly classified marterials showing about 40% ice loss from underneath the water, that's on top of all the calving that goes on. Meanwhile in Australia, you can cook your dinner without a stove now. Is this meltdown a metaphor for mankind's frustration with being so lost, and if there is a God, why does he not rescue us? Why? Because the real God of this universe takes cash only, no credit, no smoke and mirrors, and no hoo-haa either. And certainly not any silliness. I live in a "nice" neighbourhood, in what is routinely called one of the most livable cities in the world, and I can tell you unequivocally that many people here are what I would call "happiness challenged". Like they have looked everywhere and just can't find it. That because it's inside, which of course is a cliche, unless you happen to be experiencing that. For me, the issue is not: there is no god, so relax and enjoy life. For me, it's more like: there is a God, which lives in me and you and this God by it's own very nature, is the POWER of LIFE ITSELF... nothing more and nothing less. It contains everything within itself and it is only in a plane of existence like this that we think we are the image in the mirror, when in reality we are the observer looking into the mirror. I believe we were conscious before life and are so after death. And some peole are even conscious in this life. But you would'nt know it by what goes on here down on Planet Panic. So good luck as you all ride out this minor downturn in reality the world seems to be suffering through. At least Chris Martin isn't so bummed out that he can't write anymore, which is good, because if that day ever happens, we are all going to have to track him (them) down and have a mass intervention to re-float the band, are we agreed? It's Actually Too SCARY is WHAT IT IS..... What if, and I have to say that I think me and my three disciples are the only ones to hold this view, but what if... what is now happening to the world economy (grinding to a halt), is actually Nature saying to us: This Game is Over? Las Vegas is permanently closed? Absurd? Apparently the concept of a spherical planet was not too popular with the "smart set" of the day either, and I am no Einstein of ocean science, but 18 billion jellyfish taking over the oceans in not a good sign either. Seriously, maybe the big breakdown is Nature saying to mankind: go find something more meaningful to do with your time, than destroying the world which supports you? But that is like saying to humanity: go be happy. What, go be happy? You mean, find something I love to do and perfect it into an art form? We have taken the means of survival, and turned it into the purpose of living. Which is really like having the cart before the horse so to speak. You think I am simplistic, Van Gogh spent his life painting and look where it got him in the end, a bullet in the gut. (I'm being silly) Look at how panicked people are now, and rightly so as most are not protected from this nightmare. And the experts react like irritated puffer fish when you mention the words "American content", or "change the system". As Australia has the worst heat wave in over 100 years, many parts of Europe and North America have record cold winters? Good news eh? At least we have good old Nature to fall back on if everything in the world of man goes AWOL. How many planets do we have to trash before anyone realizes that this world is "it". Have you ever asked yourself, "just what is a world?". In relation to an onion, you can think of the atmosphere we live in as being the same thickness as that of an onion skin, the papery part. I think we actually exist inside a vibration (so to speak). Six miles up is absolute zero with more space available and six miles down is molten rock. We exist on this gossamer thread of reality, seemingly floating forever in an endless sea of space and time. And in this world, you also exist. Some process called life has brought us into existence for a purpose other than what we currently do, believe me. This world is a school for spiritual growth, not an original concept, but true I believe. And here is the irony of it all, While most people believe and live their lives as though we are all separate and therefore must keep an eye on others, I believe we are all one. Call me old fashioned or whatever... The me looking out at you from me, is the same me in you, looking back at me. It's all the same awareness, localized in different bodies, or in the case of a tree, not a body, a tree. And that's not pot speaking either, it's apart of my being, I know it instinctively, or my life experience has made me aware of it.. or whatever, I just know it exists. And that is why everything is "inter-connected", because behind it all, it's all the same thing, it is, one vibration become infinite creation. Have you ever been out in the country and looked up at the Cosmos on a clear summer night? If you wanted to create the perfect illusion of infinity, is that scene fairly close to it? The very being that creates the nighttime sky, then inhabits a body to behold it all? That is the original... Fantastic Voyage if there ever was one. And the feeling behind it all is.. "it's such a PERFECT day... ", every one, every day is perfect. This world is Heaven, look around you, at everything. Everything not Heaven, I can guarantee you, was created by man. I think that probably less than one in a million people think of this world as being some kind of Heaven. Which is okay, because in this particular dream, you can be anything you wish, for as many lifetimes as it takes, to get it right. Maybe I will get this life right? May the Chris be with you as you ride a light beam to your final destination, the one who existed before you were created, and will survive your death. The one who will forgive you when you won't forgive yourself. AND IN THE END...

When the Head Bites the Tail Any mention of American trading companies is just empirical. The attitude behind this mess is universal. And what is the issue now coming up amongst all these people who from birth have been chanting "free market everything with no rules"? What are they all now chanting in unison, like the one dimensional, intelligence challenged, moral bankrupts they all are? Look at what they are all starting to say about Obama's plan, that it is "not fair" because everything is "buy American". And what is the "free trade" alternative... We all compete ourselves into STARVATION? Really, so hypothetically, under "economic globalism" everything Obama has on the bill is going to "subbed out" to the lowest bidder". WHICH JUST GOT US TO THIS FUCKING TRAIN WRECK TO BEGIN WITH? I guess when you drink too much wine and make to much fast money, you lose your soul, or something like that. You just become a walking MORAL LOBOTOMY, the kind of human trait Dickens would shred to pieces regularly in all his work, the amoral zombies amongst us. They are the people God creates so that we may have a living definition of right and wrong. I am glad I am a musician who loves to play my own stuff and listen to that of others, because I get more satisfaction out of that and my daughter that all the derivatives in China would ever give me. And that is the secret that these cheeseheads just don't get... If Chris Martin had spent his life as a banker, would his life have been as meaningful and fulfilled as had he not been a musician, which is what he is most talented at? My point is, you eat to live, not live to eat. And while you are living, hopefully you do something with YOIUR TIME, that rings a bell inside of you, like developing a TALENT you might have, like if you are good at tying shoe laces, then practice that. God did not create life so that we may live to eat. We eat to live, and then we DO SOMETHING purposeful with our life. WE DO NOT TURN ALL LIFE ON EARTH INTO A BOARDGAME CALLED "LIVE TO EAT / THE FREE ENTERPRISE VERSION" / one night only pig-out / all major credit cards accepted? Because that is exactly what we have been doing up until now. And look at where it has got us, which by the way, I saw an extremely frightening show about last night... It was a 2007 1hr doc on the jellyfish EXPLOSION now happening in the worlds oceans, primarily in the "dead zones" which when seen from enhanced satellite imagery is a lot of ocean now. They (the 2 or 3 scientist who study the jelly people and know any thing about them) estimate there are over 18 BILLION, they all have a terrible sting, and some are close to one metre in diameter. One very very tiny jelly person (we will call him Wilbur), is now being found everywhere, dead sea or not, and this little fella' has the same kill sting as a scorpion, the worst snake, and frog venom... combined. You just have to look at this guy ... and you are dead. Just ONE of the things this venom does apart from seizures and stopping your heart, is to explode any blood cells it comes into contact with. Bigger jellyfish clog the intake pipes of nuclear reactors and all kinds of bizarre things. And they now know that temperature changes in the ocean have in large part triggered this huge "bloom" as they call it. Apparently they live as "polyps" on the ocean floor for decades until some environmental factor like a minute temperature change (up or down) causes them to reappear everywhere again. They have been around for 300million years. Do they know something we don't? Will Mensa accept the leader of the jellypeople as equal to humans in all aspects, including NATURAL INTELLIGENCE? Me? I will bet my money on a jellyfish any day over an economist or politician. The jelly people have "lived a little" you might say. So in light of the fact that the polar ice caps are almost gone, the seas and skies have become industrial sewers, and now the jellyfish are rising up against us... IS IT NOT TIME TO RE-DESIGN THE TITANIC? (world economy) / purpose of life. Well, now we have some "business leaders" saying that if Obama does this trillion dollar lifeline to keep several million Americans from ending up like so much dust on the road in the Grapes of Wrath, then that is "uncompetitive", and they will have to do the same and stop trading fairly with everyone else, so there. And the world economy stops completely? According to some potato-head people, maybe. Because that's exactly part of what caused the Dirty Thirties, it was not the crash of 29 that was the only major factor, the other was the trade barriers. So now, when the lives of millions of people are actually at serious risk, when the solution to that is put forth, everyone who wants to play ball as usual in Las Vegas says 'that is not fair"? Ya right, not fair if you happen to be f...ing psychopath with no conscience whatsoever regarding anything to do with appearing to be the slightest bit human. When you listen to some of these people at this Davos gathering of the lame, spineless, and the blind, they sound too hypocritical to be believed anymore. They all made piles of cash in the derivatives market before it crashed, which fundamentally was a place for bored financiers who could place huge bets on whether or not the price of plasticine would be such and such, at such and such a date, and they did it all with borrowed money, your money. And the public money replacing all the bad loans the banks made, some of them to traders? And now that the entire circus has broke loose from the pen and all bloody chaos is happening, these people stand up and want the world to believe them? I am a pot smoking musician and even I can figure them out. They are the living embodiment of self delusion as far as I am concerned. I guess they are all way more creative at high altitude, eating croissants and sipping wine. Sort of likea modern day Manhattan Project on the World Economy / airheads only please attend. Read what George Soros thinks about all this crap. To spend or not to spend, as Shakespeare so aptly said once? That is not the issue anymore, because what they are doing now is like the Titanic has already hit the iceberg and the bail out is patching from within. Have you ever seen the schematic drawings for the ship? Not one bulkhead is sealed? Where is the oversight or built in mechanism in this world economic order that ensures social stability? That is exactly what free-enterprise does not deliver, ever. But it really works hard at keeping the lie going. Until they crash their car in your backyard, and run away. The bottom lime is, as our beloved Saint Christopher once said, we are all part of some great cosmic dance, the outcome of which we are all privileged to witness and actually be a part of. Sort of like realities version of a man made interactive video game. We make the decision to pull the trigger or not, we make the decision to give the beggar a dollar or not. Or as Robert Oppenheimer said after witnessing the first nuclear bomb explode: "I am become Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.", quoting The God Form Vishnu from the Indian scripture Bhagavad Gita. We made this mess, now must fix it. We have come full circle with pan global free trade and it looks completely unreliable. They are starting to call Great Britain, Iceland on the Thames. Like so many cattle rustlers from the past, these world financiers just nod to the yes guy, and they yank all of their "cash" out of your "country" and next you are calling the world bank for help? What is wrong with this picture? That's why these potato heads should all be locked up and fed porridge once a day for the rest of their pathetic lives. Have a nice day.

Davos? "A Fog of Experts"? And now all the mindless boneheads who brought you the latest version of "Who Broke Las Vaegas", that hilarious US TV gag show, and apparently also been downing a tew foo martini lunches, they are all going to conjure up their "next season" of Las Vegas for the weary? One year ago, these intelligence impaired talking calculators were busy telling everyone that maybe there might be a recession and maybe not? How about the worst economic crisis since 1929. And now rapidly approaching implosion temperature. The fact is 6 to 7 billion people in the world need to eat every day and find shelter, with out catching a bullet along the way. Like if you are child soldier in the Congo, living out the mineral wars. No, that's not a Harry Potter Book, that's a hell on earth right now courtesy of the world economic trade model. Is this humanities star moment in history, the day we broke reality, and no one knew how to fix it? The truth is, everything you don't want in your world , is by design, built in to the way things are today. These jokers that just broke Las Vegas and are now meeting in Switzerland, do any of them have any new ideas? Or is that a broken record I hear in the backgrond? What all these people were doing up until quite recently was trading rotten food amongst themselves and /or then selling it off to the four corners of the globe with a AAA risk rating. And peole siting at home watching bank adds now are supposed to believe that all these papaer vehicles will somehow keep them from starving and out of the cold thirty years hence? Let them eat junk bonds? Will that be with or without MARMITE? Like many just did now? Some people have lost everything, and some have now been quoted publicly as saying that, in retrospect, no matter how much they had, more was never enough to fill the hole inside. So the problem facing man is not just, "the system". It's the person you see in the mirror everyday is the issue. If you are at peace with yourself, then you are at peace with the world. If you are at war with yourself, then you have todays world. People have to start looking at life differently, before they wake up from the dream and realize they are dead. Meaning, when you are are dead, is a sad time to realize you wasted the time you had alive. Life can be so much more than the drudgery version of reality so many people live. Is life more than a "job at a factory"? Will we ever reach our real potential? And may the Chris be with you as the quacking of parrots recedes into the cobwebs of your mind. Wow, I was Right... I knew that Obama would come here to understand the wisdom of all the intelligent people who listen to Coldplay. But seriously, can anyone save this rapidly sinking ship? I am no economic prognosticator, but I look at what is going on out there and it does not feel very comfortable. Could I please test drive another car Mr. Car Lot Owner? Rioting in Greece about the labour activist and the acid / but the real story is imported low cost labour displacing Greek nationals. Who "deserves" to work? Under our current system, the correct answer is: not everyone. The situation in the Middle East? It's a proven fact that if you have a job, you won't become Jonny Jihad. It's all too simple really, but no one wants to upset the status quo. And peole actually believe the experts? Like my crystal ball is more clear than yours? If you want to "fix the problem", then just call Tony Fontanna. He will tell Mr. Grreedy man where to go. It's as though all the experts are arguing about the colour of the paint, they propose to apply to the Titanic, as if either mattered, as a solution to the problem of being sunk by an iceberg. Fixing the system is an oxymoron. If anyone can tell me how we can have a peaceful harmonious world (that's what I want) with the current version of free market chaos death and destruction running the world psyche, then I'd like to hear it. Proof of mass world psychosis and denial are the current batch of banking adds running in Canada and the US. (Bear in mind that Obama (got it from me for sure) is floating the idea of nationalizing some of the banks (all?) which the taxpayer most likely has bought a few times over now already with the bailout cash). And it is so hypocritical of these morons (Wall Street), that when they crash daddy's car and need to get it fixed (and payed for) they go to the public? But God forbid, don't ever let the public CONTROL the free market or ever OWN a part of it. TYFor them that would be creepier than the movie Aliens (which has to be the best spook flick ever / no, it's not about BLACK people / it's about a monster from space which just happens to be black)./ The adds are all saying that if you give us your money now, in the future (30 years from now) you will be warm and fed, and we won't be delivering you "check" every month to the cardboard box you live in, down by the river. Fed Up with all the bullshit maybe! Get serious, it's all about coded paper, bits of data, borrowed "credit", smoke and mirrors, rainmaking and look what the cat just dragged in from the back yard?. What a great way to run a world? Why not just create HELL, when you can just as easily create HEVEAN. And even if they can get this thing breathing again, are we all going to go on merrily like there is no tomorrow? Which brings me to clarify my pet theory on imminent world freezing. I know most of my original 5 devotees thought I was half intelligent until I floated my ice theory, and now I only have 3 devotees left. I won't let you down. I believe that with all the "warming"of the past two hundred years, we have now melted so much ice that the worlds ecosystem has reached an h2o saturation point, which has started to cause the world to cool. But, the poles will get warmer, as is happening, with the "cold zone" shifting farther south and lasting longer than normal. Or maybe nothing will happen. Don't say nobody warned you, when nothing ever did happen.
