  1. I'm sooooo ready to see Coldplay again! It has been just over a month since I saw them last....I need a Coldplay fix soon! :)
  2. Nice Indy pic! That's me in the green t-shirt....upper right...with the #1's! Awesome! I will be there for the Indy show, June 5th, too.....but in lawn seats.....
  3. True... I guess if I compare them to a group like Dave Mathews Band where one night to the next you don't know what you are going to get that is frustrating when I see DMB; whereas, with Coldplay I won't have that disappointment... Although I wish they would play Shiver, Sparks, Spies, etc... more often.
  4. I saw them in Chicago (United Center) and I didn't get close... I went to Indianapolis and St. Louis, and I was able to get front row! Awesome! Plus I have amazing stories because I got front row seats!!
  5. Well....to make a long story short...I was a Cingular Wireless user then...and my calls kept failing as he was trying to call (I noticed because I went back to see what he did and everything). He was trying to call a one of my buddy's cell phone...who happened to be standing right by me with our mouths open that he was using my cell phone! To make a long story even shorter....I have a Verizon Wireless cell phone account now!!!
  6. I saw them in Indianapolis and St. Louis...both pretty much front row. I even had Chris use my cell phone when they sang "Talk"....no lie! Then in Chicago I saw them (again....same summer) but I was way far back. I gotta tell ya...once you go front row, you can't go back!
  7. I gotta say Politiks
  8. Ummm....not the story I was looking for, but I appreciate the witty response!
  9. In St. Louis (Sept. 2005) my buddies and I bought a disposable camera and wrote on there to finish the roll of film and send the pictures back to my home address. When Guy (bass) took the camera and read the note on it, I was SUPER excited! He gave me a thumbs up and it seemed like he knew what I was asking for. Does anyone have any idea what they do with "gifts" from the audience because (this comes to no surprise)....I haven't received pictures mailed from Guy yet and it is Feb. 2008.... Any other stories out there like that? Or did anyone else give Coldplay something during the concert?
  10. Although I consider myself a huge Coldplay fan, I have to agree with the arguement that they don't have a big difference in set lists. I saw them 3 times on the X & Y tour, and it was somewhat of a let down to not hear a song like "Shiver" at any of the three concerts I attended. All the same, I thought the concert was predictable, too. It was so predictable that I knew to stick out my cell phone (being in the front row) while they sang "Talk" and I would have a "lucky" chance to have Chris Martin picked it up and used it...which he did! I loved that (DON'T GET ME WRONG) because I looked like a stud (thanks, Chris)! Am I making a point?!
  11. Although this was my 3rd Coldplay concert, I have to say each concert was good. I was a little further than my previous 2 shows (pit can't be beat, it seems more "intimate" than being off the floor 14 rows up), so I felt like my excitement during the 3/31 concert wasn't matched by those surrounding me... Oh well, still a great concert, and I thought that they rocked "Talk" very well! Too many good sonds to name one that I liked the best. I was still hopeful that they would play "Shiver" but knew the chances were slim. We stayed at the House of Blues in Chicago and heard that COldplay was there, too. We weren't successful in our findings! :)
  12. I'm going to tonight's concert and wondered what the set list was for last night's Chicago concert...
  13. Shiver on 3! That's right. Friday night I'm gonna get those surrounding me to chant Shiver! They will at least hear us....now if they play...that's another story!
  14. How you see the World would be good, but they aren't too flexible...the things is...it's still going to be a good concert! I would think though that since they are at the same venue 2 night in a row they would switch it up a little!
  15. I forget the name, but the guy who sings, Bittersweet Synphony"! ANd I will accept your challenge of requesting Shiver!!
  16. Excellent question, ponzchris! Maybe if we get about 5 0 people repeatedly requesting/yelling for Shiver, Shiver, Shiver...Chris Martin might be like, "What? You want some Shiver? Ok then...hit is Johnny!" HECK YA!
  17. Proof is a super long shot, but then again so is Shiver. I hope that the greren light makes its way to Chicago!
  18. Indianapolis... You will enjoy the show. If you are familiar with all 3 of their studio albums you will enjoy it. They play a lot from X and Y, 5 from rush of blood, and 2 or 3 from Parachutes. Alright, I'm only 26 but I got to hit the bed! I WILL BE ENJOYING THE CONCERT WITH YOU! GO GREEN EYES AND SHIVER!
  19. He isn't a type to sneak it into the concert so I'm sure they saw it, but cameras are allowed. I mean I've seen people take pictures during a Chicago Bulls game....
  20. My friend who is going with me to this concert recorded some video off his camera at the Detroit show (about 3 weeks ago)... I would say that you should be fine. We are bring the same camera to Friday's concert...so if it doesn't work you won't be the only one out of luck! :) We should be fine though...
  21. Well...here is to Green Eyes! This will be my 3rd concert since Aug. 2005, and I'm hoping for a little variety in their shows. I saw the Indianapolis and St. Louis show during the summer, and I have heard that the shows haven't changed that much...
  22. So what song are you hoping they play there? I'm assuming you are going... I'm going to that concert. I am hoping (but not holding my breath) for some Shiver! I love that song!
  23. I hear ya!
