to keep this going, has anyone started collecting anthing coldplay? i have started it seriously now! argh! very exciting though

One person can not save the world, a group of people (ie coldplay) cannot save the world, its going to take years and years longer after you, coldplay and i have left this earth. the idea of the make trade fair campaign, is to make people aware of what we are doing to this earth, and then for us to pass on this legacy to our children. i would definately prefer coldplay to be political heads and speak for me than some untrustworthy politicans just in it for the benefits and payouts. coldplay are doing this without any payment and even giving their 10% back as well. so i dont know how you can start disliking them due to their political beliefs (which they have the right to express theirs, just like you are express yours now). and if you say you just want to listen to their music and not hear anything else. do just that, because i dont hear and "support make trade fair" on any ablums or cds. they arent shoving it in your face merely letting the audience to make the choice if they want to ignore this or choose this. sorry i hope i dont offend anyone but this is my opinion. personally coldplay is alot better than quite a few other bands out ther setting increadibly bad examples.

thye definate will become better i will love their music no mattter what happens, but i have so much faith in them they are always so precise with their albums. so i know i wont get anything 2nd grade.

like most other people on here, i also have mixed feelings. happy for them they definately derserve the time off. and i glad to see them be themselves and not be coldplay all the time. but also sad cos of the waiting and not knowing when! but at least knowing something will be coming lifts my sprits! so i say a HUGE CONGRATS to them for such a fantastic tour, and wish them all the best for their break!

well since i know most people on here have all the albums, and listening to them is great and eveything i love them to death, and i think i might need to get all new ones, they have just been played som many times and been eveywhere with me. so im sure that many coldplay fans here have started colecting all the singles and EPs that coldplay have put out. so my question is how many offical coldplay singles and EPs have you collected? my collection is up to 22 single's and EPs (counting the 2cds sets as one) and of course the 2003 dvd. also i was wondering if anyone wanted to list their collection as im wondering how many i am missing. well now that the tour is over after 17months (?) im sure they would love a break!. and as they said during an interview, get back into normal life which is where they get their inspiration for new songs. well already know that they have afew songs up their sleeve, according to the Coldplayer. also their dvd will hopefully be realesed at the end of this year! so for all the coldplay fans that will keep us going. but i guess for them it back to england, to have a break!

it was yellow, i remember seeing it on videohits but when i was in year 10! oh my goodness ages ago. then i went back and started listening to all their pre-parachutes songs. from that point on i knew they were something special! once AROBTTH came out it just re-affirmed this. and i have been a decated coldplay fan ever since my first parachutes album.

well said thats exactually what i was thinking. the genius that he is, i dont think he'd be able to do it without he best friends by his side. plus he definately isnt that type of person to leave the band to do his own recording.

its not a rare disc though, because it isnt an offical coldplay release album. i certinly agree they are fantastic songs, but a coldplay fan would already have these songs, as you can find most of them on the singles. i hope i dont offend anyone

Hey guys, well coldplay has well an truely come and gone, is anyone else having withdrawl symptons. mine are crazy any time i get i chane to listen to music it has to be coldplay. and most of my time i spend on the internet is getting coldplay songs, writing on forums, browsing ebay for unique coldplay items, etc. anyone else the same? cass
