  1. My first Coldplay show (Brisbane, June 23) was one I will never forget. Had silver seats about 5 rows down from the back about half way back, but still had a great, all-encompassing view. Some people have said that the live show sounded better than the recordings in some songs and I definitely agree. Having recently come out of a long relationship, songs such as What If and Fix You were definitely pulling on the heartstrings , but you'd have to be pretty heartless not to be moved by them! I loved every second of the show, especially Swallowed in the Sea...the projections were mesmerisingly beautiful. The "YEAHHH"s in "In My Place" were echoed by the entire 12500 fans in full voice - an awesome spine tingling experience! Having missed Radiohead in 2004 when they cancelled their second Melbourne show, I was reminded of this when we were treated to a Radiohead song over the PA in the pre-Coldplay interval - but it was a nice touch! Does anyone know what music they were playing over the PA immediately before Coldplay started? I really like it and would love to know! My friend had lower seats and managed to pat Chris on the back when he ran through the crowd - he's never going to wash his hand again! An amazing show, one that I will never forget. "Tears stream down your face:cry:...I promise you I will learn from my mistakes..."
