  1. Hi all - newbie here, although I'm no newbie to Coldplay. But I thought I might add on to the review above. (Sorry if it includes elements that people already know about from previous Twisted Logic shows; I haven't been terribly up to date about such things.) The concert did begin 15 mins late, with the countdown pictured by visioncatz. It also featured some of the best lighting I've ever seen. There was very little talk, mostly a barrage of one song after another, making the concert seem very short. Chris simply stopped to ask every now and then, "Are you okay?" He also joked about how the crowd was already so good on a Monday night - how would they be like on a Saturday night? And of course he joked about the Backstreet Boys, which was already mentioned. Coldplay also covered the Johnny Cash song "Ring of Fire" with the preface that it was dedicated to the "late, great Johnny Cash". The balloons were bounced from the back of the venue to the front during "Yellow", where they were burst by Chris Martin at the end of the song. The balloons were filled with golden confetti, by the way. And at the end of "Fix You", Chris ran round to the back of the venue to finish the song there. I was standing towards the back so my pictures aren't terribly exciting: http://pics.livejournal.com/auriond/gallery/0000k0ha However, I was able to record some audio clips with my mobile phone, so ask me if you want those. All in all, I think it was one of the best concerts I've ever had the pleasure of attending, despite being at a crappy venue (didn't have a good experience at the Indoor Stadium with the Dream Theatre concert earlier this year). So yeah... it was a great experience, one that was long overdue, but better late than never, I believe.
