  1. Well, sure, the very beginning of LIT is pre-recorded, but once the guitar starts - that's the band, not a recording. They played that all live, including the vocals. As for The Escapist, they just played the CD as they were leaving the stage - I didn't even count that. I was just saying they played more live than people are giving them credit for.
  2. I have to say, I think these reports of all the pre-recorded tracks are WAY overblown. The only songs where it was obvious were Lost, Viva la Vida and Lovers in Japan... Other than that, it was pretty much them the whole time. Chris spent just as much time with the piano and organ as he did hopping around. It's not as big of a deal as that article made it sound like. d
  3. They played Trouble... It sounded good...Well, everything did, with the possible exception of Speed of Sound, but Chris said they just practiced that one a few hours before the show, so all is forgiven! d
  4. They set up in between Loge 5 and Colonade 5... At least, that's where it was last night. Maybe they'll move to the other side for tonight. d
  5. SHOW HIGHLIGHTS: Being two rows away from the guys as they played Yellow and Death Will Never Conquer in the "cheap seats", as Chris called them. Violet Hill and Viva la Vida got just as big cheers as the old standbys. The "techno" version of GPASOYF is brilliant. For me, the song that sounded best was Lost! There was just a nice energy about it. As for people asking about the opening acts, they weren't anything special. They're not a waste of your time, but you wouldn't be missing too much either. d
  6. The song Chris sang at the end is called "Tea For the Tillerman" It's a song by Cat Stevens, and is usually the credits song for Extras, but Chris did his own special version for this episode. That's not to mention the classic Martin/Gervais "Fix You" duet after the credits...
  7. I think the official site said pre-order info would be available soon. I don't think it's on Amazon yet, anyway... -dan
  8. If you just want to download it, you can get it at 7digital.com It's a UK-based site, but you can pay with a US credit card. But some of the other posters are correct, you can find the single here in the US...
  9. Tough call, but I have to go with Swallowed in the Sea In My Place Everything's Not Lost Honorable mention: The Scientist
  10. Top 3 How about: 1. The World Turned Upside Down 2. Gravity 3. How You See the World Part 2 Honorable mention: Brothers & Sisters (re-recorded version)
