Here's my line of the week. Mylo Xyloto has been out for 6 weeks now. Good incentive to release dates? No?

My, has this become an absurd wait? :thinking: Yes, yes it has. :\ Jimmy Fallon is airing the Coldplay episode on December 7. Maybe that's a good time to...oh never mind. Haha, we've had a month of that already.

Mylo Xyloto has been out 5 weeks, and nothing. *facepalm*

I wouldn't give that article too much credibility. It's another instance of the media taking a quote and skewing it into something 'sensational'. Coldplay is huge in the USA, and Holmes, the tour manager, told Billboard that touring will happen largely in the USA and Europe. To top that off the 11/11 announcement of UK arenas told US and Europe to stay tuned for news. So overall, no credibility in that article at all.

I second that, I'm going crazy too. The least they could do is say when dates will be announced so we don't have to wait in random anticipation for weeks.

Well, my last bets really were on the announcement being today. I'm done with my guessing and will proceed to twiddle my thumbs in anticipation for the next few weeks. Mylo Xyloto will have been out 4 weeks starting Monday, so needless to say this wait is feeling quite jittery.

I'll go ahead and predict we see an announcement this Friday, 11/18, kind of like the UK one, with tickets going on sale 11/25. Sooner would be nice, if fate is so friendly. :D :flutterby:

Yeah, talk about anticipation. Regardless, I'll throw out two cents and say they announce the 2012 tour next week after they get an attention boost from the Saturday Night Live performance this weekend.

Your guesses on those questions are as good as ours. It has officially been two weeks sense album release, so maybe something will show up soon.

Gnuh. I was really looking forward to that November 1 tour announcement that never arrived. Perhaps we're kind of spoiled because the Viva La Vida tour announcement arrived a few months "before" the album was even released. But Mylo Xyloto is at the prime of public attention right now, it would be a good time to jump on that. Eh, eh? I'm just saying. And yes, I'm just rationalizing because of twitchy anticipation. We'll probably see an announcement later this week...perhaps the next.

Everything appears to be sold out. Won't be going to the concert at all if nothing opens up. :confused: Ticketmaster is exhausting to work with.

So is ticketmaster holding anything back, or are they really sold out to the balcony? Been waiting a solid day for anything half decent to open up.

Noon onwards and I’m only pulling 200s and 300s. Hope some better seats will show up. Edit: None yet, thats for sure.

Planning on getting tickets for the show on June 14th. The general method being logging onto Ticketmaster 10:00AM sharp. Although from what I’m reading on the forum this hasn’t been all that useful when it comes to getting good seats. One can always hope for the best though I suppose. This is my first time in the Philips Arena, or seeing Coldplay for that matter. Anybody know much about the arena? The sound quality?
