How do you become a Christian?

Why is it that when a Christian states his opinion, somehow it's forcing our views on people, but when you state your opinion that it's somehow not forcing yours? Christians go by the bible. You can believe the bible or not, but don't say that I am forcing my views on you simply because you don't agree. That's so hippacritical when you are also stating your opinion.

...what if someone wanted to have sex with a dog and marry a dog and live with a dog, would that be ok? ...but what if that's the way they "feel"?

First of all, churches don't preach "hate" against homosexuals. They do preach that it's a sin to practice homosexuality because that what the bible says in the old testiment and in the new. No where in the bible does it EVER say that it's ok to be gay. No where in the bible does it EVER aknowledge a gay couple. It's ALWAYS a man and his wife. Verses in the NT that speak of homosexuality: 1Co 6:9 ¶ Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. Ro 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Either Jesus was telling the truth or He was/is a liar. I believe Him when He is the only way...Do you?

...but Jesus proved who He was by His miracles, fulfillment of hundreds of prophecies written hundreds of years before His birth and His resurrection.

You need to actually have a realtionship with Jesus. I find it hard to believe that someone could know God and then turn away from Him.

What makes you a Christian or not is wheather or not you have accepted Jesus Christ into your heart as your Lord and Savior.

Like I said, we can drink but not get drunk.

You can be a Christian and go dancing. It's all in how you conduct yourself. Christians can drink, they just don't believe in getting drunk. I drink. I enjoy a good cigar.

Ummm...I am giving the message of Jesus Christ. The words that I quoted were the ACTUAL words of Jesus Himself and you told me that I wasn't giving the Christian message. Who knows the Chrisitian message more than Jesus Christ Himself? He said this Joh 3:36 "He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." You have the choice to either believe Jesus or not, but don't tell me that I am wrong for giving you the actual words of Jesus.

The 4 gospels were written by the actual eyewitnesses who walked with Jesus. The other "gospels" were not written by actual eyewitnessess and were not written within the lifetime of those who walked with Jesus. They were written hundreds of years later, plus they contradict the bible, which is why they were rejected.

...So...was Jesus right or wrong when He said that if you didn't place your trust in Him that the wrath of God will come upon you? How about when He said that He was the Only way to the Father? How about when He said "He who has the Son has life and He who has NOT the Son has NOT life"

I personally believe that anyone who truly seeks the true God, will find Him. Secondly, if you could be good enough to get into heaven on your own, then Jesus Christ wouldn't have had to come and suffer and die for our sins. We only Get in because of what HE did for us on the cross. We must repent of our sins and turn to Him. Here is what Jesus actually said. What do these verses mean to you? Please please feel free to ask me anything you want regarding how to get to heaven. This is not a troll thread or I would be here answering questions.

ARE YOU 100% SURE THAT IF YOU DIED TODAY THAT YOU WOULD GO TO HEAVEN? There are some things that you should know: 1. Realize that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior: Ro 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Ro 3:10 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" This all began with the story of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. God created them perfect, there was no death or sorrow. God told them not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They disobeyed God and as a result, sin entered into the world. The pain which this world sees is the result of sin. 2. Because of our sins, we die both spiritually and physically, but God sent His Son to die so that you can have a chance not to have to go to hell by accepting what He did on the cross for you: Ro 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Ro 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. for us." Every person who has ever lived is a sinner and is not righteous because we do bad things. A sin is a crime against God, just as if you steal something at the store, it is punishable by going to jail. It's the same thing with sin. Even if we lie one time, the punishment is hell, which is a prison for those who commit crimes against God. No matter how well you live your life from then on, you have already committed a sin which will be punished if you are not pardoned. If you commit a crime, and then live as a good citizen you still will go to jail for the crime you committed. Right? Just as the president can pardon a crime so you won't go to jail, Jesus can pardon your sins so that you do not go to hell, and can go to heaven when you die. 3. If you will confess to Jesus Christ that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior, except Him as Lord and Savior and believe in your heart that He died on the cross and rose from the dead you will be saved. Ro 10:9,10 "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.." Joh 1:12 Joh 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” You cannot get to heaven by being a good person, going to church, baptism or any other way other than by turning to Jesus and asking Him to forgive you for your sins and save you. While these are good things to do, some people believe that they will get to heaven if they do these things, but the bible says that there is only one way to heaven and that is through receiving what Jesus Christ did on the cross for you. Will you do that today? If you will, you can be 100% sure that you will go to heaven when you die. Do you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the dead for your sins? Are you willing to turn from your sins to Jesus Christ for Salvation? 4. If you are willing to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior please pray this prayer to God from your heart: "Dear LORD JESUS, I believe that YOU died on the Cross and Rose from the dead for my sins. I ask you to come into my heart and forgive me for my sins, take me to heaven when I die. I now receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus holy name, Amen." If you prayed that prayer from your heart to God, and meant it with all of your heart, you are now a child of God and will go to heaven when you die. Now that you are on your way to heaven, you should attend a bible believing church and follow in baptism.
