Panic over Ticketline have come to their senses

Yes, Tickeline (which is a kosher primary ticket site but smaller, independent and based in Manchester I believe) seems to be the only site saying this, which is why I'm pretty sure it's a mistake. I've not got tickets but you have - so it may be worth contacting them to get them to clarify and (presumably) correct it, just to put your mind to rest.

I'm assuming this is a mistake, but I was checking Ticketmaster for tickets and according to this the gig has been cancelled. Can't find any other reference to it anywhere else though, so I guess it's a data error?

Exactly the same - if you look on the Ticketmaster plan you'll see that 421 and 402 are mirrors of each other. You're absolutely right. I was up there for Muse a could of years ago. When the support band came on I couldn't believe how far away I was and how small they were. Then Muse came on and filled the place with light, sound and video and I forgot all about the distance for the rest of the gig - I might just as well have been on the arena floor! Michael McIntyre made a joke when he played there, mimicking a couple who arrived with tickets for the Upper Tier with the wife saying 'these can't possibly be the seats, darling, the sat nav says we've still got 2 miles to go' :laugh3:

Oh dear - I'm sorry as it was my idea to use two browsers. You may have been better booking one ticket and taking the risk to book the 2nd one afterwards :\ Anyway, your seat is as close to the stage as you can get in the upper tier. In general the upper tier tickets are much further away than the lower tier - there are 2 floors of corporate boxes between the two tiers, so it relies on the band to 'fill the space' which Coldplay do as well as anyone. Last time they played the O2 Arena they set up a little area on the upper tier with a drum and guitar and played a couple of songs from up there - you may be lucky again! You're better off in blocks like 402 that are more side on to the stage than those at the end that are straight on, which will be 3 or 4 times further away from the stage than you. The other thing to bear in mind is that there is almost free movement within the venue with no ticket checks, so if you and your friend can find a couple of seats next or near each other that aren't taken - or one of you spots a single spare seat near to where you are, it's worth the risk of sitting in them. There will be some no shows, such as unused production seats. Enjoy the show!

If anyone is still without tickets, there are a few in Block 401 on Ticketmaster. They are individuals, but it looks like you could get one in row D and one in the seat immediately behind it in Row E. They're not called restricted view so I suspect they're about as close as you'll get to the stage in the upper tier. Some in the block opposite too. Worth experimenting - you may need to use 2 different types of browser to keep them in your basket at the same time :smug:

Well you can do whatever you want inside as long as it's legal as it's open to the public. Entertainment Avenue is effectively a public shopping centre. You don't need a ticket to get in through the main doors. So yes, you'll be able to queue at the Arena doors which are inside under cover.

Only seems to be one place you can get standing tickets now and that's Stargreen. See & TM only have nosebleed seats left. Snap them up guys so they put on a second date on the Friday please ;)

14-Dec-08 - London, O2 Arena - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
I ordered mine through Stargreen - a tiny but reputable agency and the only one that sells at face value alongside the TM and See - and they've not arrived yet. So if that's where he got his, he's got an excuse.

Brixton: who has won tickets?
You hope ;)

Brixton: who has won tickets?
So am I right in thinking nobody on here has received a Brixton email? But that the MSG ones have all gone out?

And are they generally good seats, or GA standing, or the same as everyone elses?

Absolutely no idea! Seems pointless to me, though I will be trying both the O2 allocation and standard sites at the same time, in case O2 is easier.

It's not really a presale, it's a sale of 'Priority tickets' on sale at the same time as the others. The code is unique to each person, so there's be no point in someone giving you it anyway (you'd be using up their code)

O2 Priority Tickets I thought these were generally presales? I've just had an email from O2 about priority tickets for O2 customers, but the tickets go on sale at the same time as everyone else. How does that in any way offer priority?:stunned:
