  1. I wish the Toronto DVD would have been released...I've watched probably every song from that show on YouTube and it was unnnnbelievable!
  2. I'm glad I can be a part of a community like this where everyone has the same deep appreciation for Coldplay. I absolutely love this band to death....nobody else comes close! I play guitar and my favorite thing to do is cover coldplay songs. I'm obviously new to this site and don't know how to navigate my way around it yet, but I'm betting that I'll be spending a LOT of time on here! I remember the first time I heard a Coldplay song. I was apparently out of the loop because I had never heard "Yellow" or any of their songs from Parachutes when it came out, which is crazy because it was a huge hit in the U.S. and the rest of the world...or maybe I just didn't pay attention. Anyway, I heard "Clocks" on a passenger jet while we were getting ready to taxi out to the runway in Newark, NJ in June of 2003. I thought it was a pretty good song, but I didn't pay much attention to it at the time. It wasn't until early 2005 that I fell in love with their music when my best friend insisted that I give their music a chance to grow on me. We listened to it often...at first I thought it was nothing special, but after hearing it awhile I absolutely fell in love with the sound. I saw them live for the first time in September 2005 in Minneapolis and I could hardly contain myself...I was completely blown away by the atmosphere of the concert. That's the first time I've had to fight back tears at a concert...specifically when they played The Scientist. I have every intention of seeing them again on their next tour...3 years has been far too long! I could never pick a favorite song...there are far too many to choose from! I would have to say that I enjoy songs from Parachutes and AROBTTH more so than X&Y, although X&Y is still growing on me. I don't know if I can post videos of my Coldplay covers on here or not, but if you guys are interested in seeing them I have a YouTube account: http://www.youtube.com/user/shootr04 So far I have covers for See You Soon, Life is for Living, Til Kingdom Come, and Fix You posted, but I will definitely be posting others soon...Yellow and Trouble are my next two, hopefully. I hope that I can post them on here as well, but for now you guys can stop by there and check them out :) I can't wait for the new album and the next tour!!! Glad to meet you guys :D
