respect to you for unlocking. I'm a musician and have been influenced hugely by radiohead just as coldplay have. I think there is no shame in it as in my opinion they are the best influence to draw from in modern music. For me, it would be nice to hear Coldplay go back to doing what they do best, I hope it happens with the new album.

hehehe I was only winding you lot up :P Just so you know we Radiohead fans aren't really idiots like I was pretending to be, someone wanted to do a forum take over but it didn't work and I was the only person to post! You can fight us back at At Ease if you want! I was just replying in the thread to admit it was a joke and a bit of fun when I realised the thread had been locked. Thats pretty sad really considering there was no swearing or anything. Just some guy posting saying negative things about the band, you should be able to deal with that and view it as freedom of speech. The radiohead forum I post in does not lock anti-radiohead threads and I enjoy hearing an opposite point of view. That's a shame. Although while I'm here I'll say that I really like the first 2 coldplay albums, brilliant. Although surely you have to admit they have gone downhill from there. I can see they tried to progress their sound but for me it hasn't been such a good progression. I haven't heard the new album though, I hope it is better than the third at least. Radiohead, the band Chris Martin wishes he was in. I bet he'd invent a time machine and travel back and kill thom yorke and take his place and be thom yorke if he could and be in the best band ever. THAT is what 'the scientist' is about. duh!

Coldplay are a poor man's radiohead they wouldn't exist without radiohead. First 2 Coldplay albums, superb. 3rd? it sounded like freakin U2 I don't think I'll bother with the latest one. thanks
