  1. September 21, 2002 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. One of my best friends dragged me to this show. It was because of this concert I became a fan.
  2. Well the ACC and the Molson Amp hold around the same amount of people when it comes to concerts (16 000)...but I do think there will be a second show. Maybe even a third.
  3. The Molson Amphitheatre is outdoors...but Sections 100-300 are covered by a roof. Only the 400 Sections and lawn are exposed to the elements. Total capacity [including the lawn] for the venue is around 16 000.
  4. I don't know for certain....but I think it's likely the dates will be rescheduled at some point. The band is supposed to tour well into next year, and it's been confirmed that they will swing through North America again....so it's likely they will eventually make it to Calgary, Edmonton, and Winnipeg.
  5. That Best Buy contest [the one giving away a trip to Calgary] started before the dates were changed. They will probably forgo the contest...or offer an equivalent prize to the winner. The Calgary, Edmonton, and Winnipeg shows have been postponed...though new dates haven't been rescheduled as of yet.

  7. I think they will add additional shows in TO in the fall. There are gaps in the schedule...so it could be done. But that's just my opinion of course.
  8. The CD is just the album. He/she meant that it's a bonus that comes with the Vinyl LP...it's not actually extra music or anything. I picked up a copy from HMV Yonge and Dundas as well:D I was pleasantly suprised they were selling the LP!
  9. Wow, I can't believe how fast both of the shows sold out! I managed to get Section 120, Row 16 for July 30th and Section 120, Row 7 for July 31st. I'm so stoked!!!! Here's hoping 3rd and 4th shows are added in the fall:)
  10. I'm annoyed because I had 14th row tickets to see the band in Detroit on July 5th. I won't be able to go to the November 3 rescheduled date because I will be in Vancouver. However, at the same time, I completely understand. These things do happen. I'm just happy that I can now see them in Toronto, as that show is now taking place next month [instead of October]. I just hope I can get some decent tickets.
  11. I'm pretty disappointed about this. I'll be in Vancouver around that time, so I can't go to the rescheduled show. Boo urns! Thank goodness the Toronto show has been moved up to July....at least something good came out of this debacle!
  12. Obviously Calgary is going to be rescheduled for some other time:lol: This is all very weird though. I wonder why they're moving around the tour dates like this?
  13. Yay, that's good to know! Thanks so much for sharing that info:)
  14. What's going on with the tour dates??? According to Ticketmaster, the Toronto show is now July 30. This actually works out better for me because I was going to be out of town when the band was supposed to come in October. But holy randomness! Is the entire North American tour being reworked or something?
  15. Even if you can't get anything decent during the general sale, don't worry too much. Just check Ticketmaster every single day, because more seats [usually some of the best] get released at some point. It could be weeks, days or even hours before the concert...the main thing is to be persistent! For example, for Coldplay's upcoming Detroit show, my friend and I bypassed the presale [like I mentioned in a previous post] and tried for tickets during the general sale. But like the presale, nothing good was coming up. So we just waited, and last week saturday, I randomly checked Ticketmaster and 14th row on the floor popped up! This is how I've gotten great tickets for a number of concerts I've been to:D Good luck!!!
  16. I wouldn't freak out too much about this. The seats offered during the presale weren't even that great. I tried for the Detroit show a few weeks ago, and all they had were floor seats, and side sections at the back of the arena. Nothing in the front at all. I recall a few other shows were like this as well. Not sure what the ticket allotment for the Canadian presales will be though.
  17. Wooo it finally worked!!!
  18. I get that "address undeliverable" message too. I'm so glad I'm not the only one! Hopefully it all gets sorted out soon!
  19. I think I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that 3 years has passed and Coldplay is about to release a new album and embark on another tour LOL!!! It feels like the whole X&Y era was last week!
  20. Yay, you're only 3 rows behind me! I got Floor C, Row 14. I'll probably bump into you as we all rush towards the stage haha
  21. If anyone is still looing for tickets, they eleased a whole bunch of seats in the front floor sections. I just managed to score 14th row!!!:D
  22. You're going to have the time of your life!!! Seeing Coldplay live is orgasmic:lol:
