If brilliant is your word for mediocre I couldn't agree more. Couldn't disagree with you any more strongly. VLV, DAAHF, Life In Technicolour, and the 2 hidden tracks (only spins on the other songs) are the only good songs in the album. I liked X&Y leagues better than this one, but whatever

I know it's different....but it really (IMO) is less cohered than X&Y. Saying it's leagues better....well I don't know if those saying it are sincere or just being fanboys of "the new Coldplay thing." Either way, very disappointing album

The only songs I liked were The Escapist (a weird twist on Life In Technicolour), Death and All His Friends, Lost!, and Viva La Vida. The rest IMO were utter crap. Who's with me!? :laugh3: Basically all the songs that were leaked was all I needed. Rest are seriously blah. Viva La Vida is by far the best one to me. Kings, Roman Conquest, Monarchy. Beautiful
