  1. Great find Space Cadet. Can I just add to the collection of songs with similar melodies to the Satriani riff. It seems he should be sueing CHRIS REA. [ame=http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=sQCymJjKLsM]YouTube - Chris Rea-Fool(If you think it's over)[/ame] Slower tempo but definite similarities. How dare Chris Rea steal from (the legendary)Satriani in 1978, Joe should sue! I think it goes to show that the same melodies/riffs are going to pop up time and again, but does it constituite plagerism? I don't think so espeacially when the songs go off in such different directions. But as they say in the music industry write a hit get a writ!
  2. It was a very brief review of Violet hill if I remember, just a few words along the lines of how dull and boring they are very little about the song. They could of given it 3 * though.

From today's Daily Mirror 17 May 2006 COLDPLAY'S WILL IS A DAD Kiki King, Eva Simpson & Caroline Hedley CHRIS Martin isn't the only Coldplay member celebrating the pitter patter of tiny feet. The singer and wife Gwyneth Paltrow had their second child, Moses, in April. But now the 29-year-old must be thinking about having a creche on the band's tour bus. Drummer Will Champion and wife Marianne had baby girl, Ava, two weeks ago. And bassist Guy Berryman's wife Jo is halfway through her pregnancy. "The guys are over the moon with all the baby stuff," a spokesperson for the band tells us. "Marianne and Will are busy looking after baby Ava while Jo and Guy can't wait for their tot to be born." Let's hope the little ones don't cause much Trouble for their parents.
