  1. The guys are getting loooots of love down there in Australia..which is good!!! Can't believe we have to wait til September to see them live again!!! *sigh*
  2. being quite spirituell myself...there is def. more then we know and everything happends for a reason! I think that soooo lovely that she thinks that her dad (from whereever he is) made sure that he is happy again! :)
  3. There is a interview with her in the british OK this week, she speaking briefly about Chris e.g. that she met her husband three weeks after her father died and she thinks her father pushed that. And like her family will always come first. Nothing new really but I do have to say that I do like her, she just seems a really "down to earth" (as much as possible for her) person and a great mum.
  4. I think what most people don't get their head around it is a. that they don't have a "typical"marriage...how can they when one of them tours since last June most of the time and b. that like everyone else have problem in their relationship. But to me it seem that they, opposite to most "famous" couple work actually on their relationship and don't just run of to the divorce lawer when they getting fed up with each other! P.
  5. well, she only tells the truth, don't know why everybody seems to think that when you a celeb that you don't have the same issues in a marriage or relationship like joe blocks. P.
  6. worldtrav replied to Pris's topic in Coldplay
yeah, I have and love him!!! he is seriously addicated to twitter... P.
  7. Well, I think it's Coldplay at the end of the day whose responsible for it. I am quite split on that one and always was as I personally for example think if my friend takes a picture of me and puts it all over the internet I would be rather annoyed. It's always a discussion if it's the person on the picture or the person who takes the picture owns the right. P.
  8. Record Companies have hardly anything to do with a tour and live shows! They don't even earn on them, well they do in the case of Robbie Williams but only because of his deal and the company they created. You can blame EMI for lots of things but I don't think that is coming from them.
  9. Think they have still 1 or 2 albums left. But what does this has to do with the copyright issue?
  10. I can remember years ago (must be at least 10 years) Bon Jovi were one of the first bands to do that and the press they got for it was not pretty!
  11. well, I personally don't think...I work in a hotel and when you walk in the kitchen this is what you hear most likely.. P.
  12. What a drama about nothing...jesus. They can call me a wanker any day if that means I am a genius!!! I doubt that Chris or Bono so to speak care... But Bono gave both bands loots of pubilicty as it is in the papers today!!! So, everybody happy!
  13. Who wants to be nice anyways...??? I am sure Chris is a great guy and general won't harm anybody however to be a frontman of any band you need have a biiiig ego and I for once can't imagine how the band or his wife copes with his hyperactive etc. I couldn't!
  14. Bono didn't slag Chris off by the way...he said he is a wanker and a great melodist...how is this slagging off. P.
  15. ahaa, can't believe this is going on for 12 pages!! chill out people....
  16. LOL...this just makes me laugh.. Haven't heard it but a. I am sure it was just bono's humour and b. why is the BBC always sooooo concered but the sweering on air...it's sooo out of date, if you walk through the streets here you hear young people saying worst. plus you never know maybe Chris is a w***...:) and Bono as well... P.
  17. Sometimes I really think this world is going crazy...so, they critizing her for this newsletter/website, which if you don't like it don't read it. She doesn't harm anybody, she just wants to do this and good on her. On the other side you have people like Amy Winehouse who are just junkies and people and the media find them "cool". I know who I would prefer as a role model to my children!! Petra
  18. I think I went Tuesday - well, I went three times but Tuesday was cooold!!! Yes, Wembley has a sliding roof but don't actually think that it was ever used...
  19. Iron Maiden is around since a long time...even the music is not for me, I heard their live shows are amazing.
  20. LOL...true...plus you will have most likely U2 between TT and Coldplay...so, there was not much space left I guess...
  21. But I think TT base or people who go to the gig are wider then Coldplay's. Plus open air's in September are just not very appaling...been to Robbie Williams gigs in Milton Keynes in September 2006 and it was bl***dy cold in the evening! So, I was not impressed when they announced the dates for September :(
  22. Don't think you can compare TT and Coldplay re: their stadium gigs, cause TT are just everybody's darlings at the moment and everybody will go and see them. I know tons of people you don't have a ticket yet for coldplay but want to see them, but most people are just waiting if they still have a job in September. I haven't really been around on previous coldplay releases and tours. As I also was on of those people you always liked their music but never really went to a show until this year where they totally blew me away - live there are for me one of the best I have ever seen! 2009 looks to me like a massive gig year but also where we are having the biggest recession since god knows when so that doesn't help the situation. P.
  23. That's true Duffy had major, major exposure this year, TT are "cult" anyway here in the UK. Well, Capital Radio must love Coldplay cause I have the radio on all day in the office and they play Coldplay a loooot!!!! Think they need to find a balance in the future. However I am not sure if they would have won the awards in that case but you never know.. P.
  24. yeap, they def. need to rethink and have to remind themselves that they also need to work their homecountry as hard as the US. When Rob Williams moved to LA the press started to turn on him and obviously with the whole TT comeback they media had a easy ride to have a pop and him, plus the moment he become an international superstar they start to knock him. So, yes in this country they love to do that (well, also in my homecountry Germany is not much better-just don't have too many great artist to build up and knock down again...LOL).
