I couldn't be bothered to go all artistic so I just sent a postcard which just happened to be lurking around in one of my drawers. Its one of a flaming guitar!!! I bet the band would love that! I tried to upload the images of the postcard but it didn't work. :veryangry2:

Politik is bloody amazing, not only one of the greatest Coldplay songs but one of the greatest songs of all time!! As an album and live opener, nothing comes close to it. They really should put it back as the opener to the live shows rather than Life in Technicolour.

Coldplay to me are like my long lost uncles, too young to be my parents but a bit old to be my brothers so I think uncle fits the bill the best. Uncle Chris, Jonny, Guy and Will has a certain ring to it too.

I have 82 including the Live 2003 album and Lost+ with Jay-Z which isn't a lot compared with you guys. I need to get some more b-sides.

Ok it seems hundreds of people have already said what they thought of last night and now its my turn (i only just got out of bed). Anyway i thought it was bloody amazing!!! The band were on simply top form last night and the crowd were up for it too. I particularly liked the techno versions of GPASUYF and Talk as well as Lovers in Japan which i wasn't a fan of until they played it last night (shame i wasn't able to catch the butterflies). It was nice to meet up with some of my fellow coldplayers Mark and Frank. :D

Nothing is truly original these days, just look at the Joe Satriani case/argument. Coldplay has already been accused of being a Radiohead clone in the past. However Coldplay experiment on their new album, there is bound to be some arguments about it. Don't get me wrong i still would like to hear some classic Coldplay on the new album but it would be good to see them experiment with other sounds than what they have done already. I personally would like to hear another track like Rainy Day.

Perhaps it will feature some electronics? Now that would be interesting.
