  1. hey guys, so kroq is doing some ticket give away for this date, they give a password out and then you text it to enter the contest, anyone heard any other announcements?
  2. so great concert! i agree with whoever said the energy in the first few rows was weak. i think it was because these people weren't the die hard fans, but the KROQ winners (i being one of them, but i was singing & dancing the whole time). It was amazing how close I was (first row), basically made my life complete. Kate Bosworth was there, standing in the aisle on Gy's side. THey kinda smiled at each other throughout the night. Another highlight was getting a setlist, no luck getting a pick, though Johny gave two away to some guys in the front row, as did another roadie (not sure which one).
  3. I managed to win tickets through KROQ's coldplay contest. If you were caller 20 you got tickets in the first 10 rows for their gig in Anaheim. Just that morning the ticketmaster tickets were put on sale, and they all got sold out before I could even find any, so it was a sheer miracle! I know another radio station is giving away tickets & the chance to meet them this weekend, its STAR98.7 if you want to try for anyone living in socal.
  4. great advice everyone! thanks so much! I think i'll just hang around yelling roadies names (matt, hoppy, bash). fingers crossed! do you know of any more techs or people I could yell for to get some recognition?
  5. So I'm pretty new to the whole concert scene, sad I know, but I am fully making up for lost time. I went to both the Coldplay shows in Inglewood, but just jetted out after. So for this upcoming Anaheim show I got tickets in the 1st 10 rows, and I wanna try and get a set list or some kind of momento from the band. Any tips, should I butter up the security or make some signs or just stay after the concert is over and wait for someone to show up? Any advice would be great!
  6. KROQ 106.7 is giving away tix in the 1st ten rows. basically they run an advert around 25 after the hour that tells you about the winnings. then it says, caller 20 wins now & you dial 18005201067. best of luck to you all, just be consistent, it's bound to happen, i think its running all night long too, until the drawing tomorrow morning at 715 where they announce who wins a trip to see them play SNL out of the ticket winers. good luck! just make sure its for coldplay, cuz they have a call in for metallica at 720ish too.
  7. i would love another anaheim show too, but unfortunately the honda center is already booked for the night before & after the 25th show, so unless they go to another venue, there's no luck. it was thoroughly depressing going on ticketmaster to find all the tix had sold out in the 1st 30 seconds, i never got the chance to even get to see one i might've wanted. luckily i won tickets through kroq! 1st 10 rows! unbelievable luck!
