Sooo several pages back one of you posted pics of Chris and he was sweating a LOT [obviously understandable], and it looked like he wet himself a bit, but it was just sweat.. I hope that only Coldplay fans got that pic and not bad media people! I love them though, they're not just amazingly talented musicians, but they're also awesome, friendly, and genuinely honorable people who really care about their fans as well as the music. No one is better than them! I really want to go to another show this summer when I'm not in school cuz the whole "leaving Delaware at 6:30" thing wasn't my cup of tea. But I live in Philly suburbs, and I dunno which would be easiest to get to from there.. any suggestions?? Also, when do you think they're gonna come back again? Do you think we're gonna hafta wait until their next cd?! That could take years! And are they playing on any shows like The Today Show or Late Night shows or anything that anyone knows of? + Would it EVER be possible to have a "Coldplayers Only Coldplay Concert" where the guys would perform just for us?! Okay, I fantasize, but still. Would that not be the most AMAZINGGG thing?! They've gotta find some way to decipher true fans from bandwagon fans and ordinary concert-goers. Our obsession exceeds most people's.. and that's not a bad thing. :D I love looking at all of your pics! Did anyone record LIT2?! I LOVEEE that song and I think it's just so beautiful! I didn't get it on video though. I imagine that other non-coldplayers put videos on Youtube as well by now or this weekend, and I'm sure they have the videos we're all looking for but don't have. Like Sean, they might have Strawberry Swing on Youtube so check it out! Also--I think Sean wins for best pictures. Sorry everyone else, but Sean's are amazing and I want to stand beside you next time! hahah. :D

Haha yeah.. After reading all the reviews from people who were not on the lawn, I'm surprised at how lenient the security guards seemed to be for this show. Seems like, from what you've all said, that they basically just let you walk around inside the lower levels wherever you wanted and didn't try to stop you? I know they usually are strict with that and sometimes even ask to see the ticket to make sure you're in the right spot.. but sounds like you guys really made out nicely! If I could only get that lucky when I go next time! PS: is anyone going to APW??? Just curious.

Okay, so I never thought I'd get to the end of like 14+ pages on here, but I did! So let's see.. last night was AWESOME! Not as much fun as I've had at the other Coldplay concerts, but still amazing nonetheless. I had lawn seats for the first time ever, and I am probably never going to get them again. I don't like being that far away and I'm not used to it.. had floor seats in November so yeah haha.. So I guess this will be a different concert review than everyone in the pit and 100s.. So anyway.. crazy story! I had my final which finished at 5:30, then I had to get gas. While I was getting gas a friend from home in PA called and asked when I was leaving cuz her friend who she went to the concert with forgot his ticket. So his mom drove and put the ticket in my mailbox at home in PA. I left Delaware and was about 10 minutes away from that gas station when I was thinking "how much would it suck to not have the tickets at the---OMG I FORGOT OUR TICKETS!" so I quickly changed the destination on the GPS back to my school, luckily JUST in time to make the exit which was RIGHT there haha. So that put me back about a half hour total, going backwards and then going back forwards.. so I didn't get home to Philly till 7:40. I was waiting for my friend to get to my house and we finally left at like 8.. not my ideal leaving nor arrival time for the concert, but that's what it was. So clearly I knew we were missing the opening acts, and all I was interested in at that point was to be there when Coldplay started. So we got to Camden and the GPS decided to tell us to go on a road that was closed and has been closed since I was last in Camden last summer to see the Killers. But anyway, we got to the Susquehanna Bank Center around 8:38, but it took like 10 or so minutes to get the guy his ticket cuz we couldn't find him. So anyway, we got in at like 8:50, and I bought a shirt and a poster [to add to my collection of now 4 posters and 7 tshirts and a track jacket haha, always expanding :D ] And then the guy was like "you should probably go, they're gonna be on soon" but of course I already knew! So we ran out to the lawn and got there as Danube was playing. We found a nice spot in the middle and got there just in time! It worked out! And it worked out very well! Haha.. this was my friend's first Coldplay concert and my 6th, so when we were getting to the lawn she was like "Ah I think they're starting!" and I was like "nah, that's not them.. they never start with that song" and she's like "How do you know?" and I was like "You just do haha." So yeah.. Chris was hilarious as always, truly a crowd pleaser! My friend was like "Wow he really is going crazy out there!" And I was like "Yep.. that's Chris!" So it was a very enjoyable experience. I didn't get too close to them, unfortunately when they played the lawn set it was on the OTHER side of the lawn. But fortunately when they did that everyone near us tried to run over there, of course they couldn't get close but now there was plenty of room near us to move forward! I took some pictures, but they didn't come out very well because my camera is weird. I took a few videos and they were alright. Nothing superawesome. I did get a picture of the giant VIVA balloon that was behind the lawn. Cool stuff. My friend from school who was there got some really nice videos also from the lawn! So yeah. I LOVED that they played Green Eyes. I love that song and it is just so beautiful and amazing to hear it live! Also, I didn't download LRLRL from coldplay.com cuz I wanted it to be a surprise to hear after getting it at the concert and it was, so that was awesome too! Any way next time Coldplay's in this area that I could go to the concert with some of you Coldplayers? I really don't wanna sit on the lawn but none of my friends want to pay for anything more than that, if that, and they do NOT love Coldplay the way we love Coldplay! So next time.. count me in, I wanna go with you guys!! But yeah, overall an amazing show!! + Also--you know how I was worried about getting back to Delaware after the concert cuz of the I95 night construction? Well they postponed it to 5/27 and 5/28 nights instead! So I got back to Delaware in a record 1 hour and 3 minutes. Also, my final this morning was alright. I'm glad I didn't stay home from the concert to read cuz the things I would have read weren't on the exam anyway! My dad actually texted me yesterday morning saying that he didn't want me to go to Coldplay and that he would pay me for the money I spent on the tickets, but I was like uhh it's COLDPLAY, um NO of COURSE I'm going! haha + IT DIDN'T RAIN AT ALL!!!!!!!! That Coldplay Karma really worked!!! I write a lot I'm sorry, you probably don't even read it! But yeah, that's it. Amazing night. Can't wait for next time when I won't be getting there so late and I won't be on the lawn! Oh yeah, on the lawn we were standing in front of some guys that were.. interesting haha.. one drunk guy was like "Play Fix You!" and we were like "they already did!" and he was like "aww man I missed it?!" and we were like "Um, no, you were singing to it." lol. And there was an older man, maybe in his like 40s/50s? with his wife. It was her first concert and his 5th. They were grinding. It was weird. 1) you don't grind to Coldplay. 2) Older people don't grind. >> Older people don't grind to Coldplay. It's just.. No.. so yeah. But overall it was fun! I'll put my pictures online eventually, the ones that are worth it haha.. I still haven't put up my pictures from July or November yet either, so I'm a little backed up! But yeah.. COLDPLAY = LOVE!!! :D

So I was listening to the radio tonight, and Coldplay came on, so obviously I was instantaneously ecstatic and excited, and I noticed it was Clocks, but the beginning chords were shorter. Then as Chris started singing, it did not sound like the regular Clocks. I recorded it on my camera, then checked YouTube and found it on there. I haven't heard this version of Clocks before! Have you guys heard of it before?! + What do you think? I think it's interesting. + 3 DAYS!!! :-D yayyyy!!! Can't waitttt! Got everything ready! Here's a link to the YouTube video with this version of the song in it: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-M62zG51_UA]YouTube - ColdPlay Clocks Salsa Version[/ame]

I ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY HATE THE DRUNK PEOPLE AT CONCERTS. IT'S BEYOND ANNOYING. Why anyone in their right mind would pay lots of money for a ticket to a concert to be drunk and not necessarily remember it all and just be overall sloppy and obnoxious I have no idea. ESPECIALLY COLDPLAY. + I hate how they have absolutely NO respect at ALL for true diehard fans like us, who do also pay a lot of money to go to the concert and really LOOK FORWARD TO IT FOR DAYS [clearly] only to have the stupid drunk people try to ruin it! My second time seeing Coldplay in 2006 at the Wachovia Center, there was this completely drunk guy in the row in front of mine, but we were at the curve and on the end, so it was like he was next to me on my left. He was SO annoying. Couldn't take videos because he screamed and talked and was just obnoxious through everything. Then when I tried taking pics he thought it'd be funny to put his hand in front of my camera. I hit him. No one comes between me and Coldplay! Especially at their prices! I'm a college student, and at the time I was in high school--I don't have a ton of money to throw away! I spend it so I can enjoy it! So yeah.. He did stop after I hit him. And it wasn't anything harmful, just a "back off; leave me alone" kindof hit. I think they should have breathalyzers along with the people who check bags at concerts. I know this would make it take long, but think of all the hundreds of people who wouldn't be let into the concert! More room for us! :o) + no annoying drunkards in the pit! + Some unfortunate news, moreso for me and less so for you all, but I checked the weather and it said 40% chance of rain for Tuesday night.. I have lawn seats. Oh well.. we'll see what happens. Maybe it will hold off! + I heard they do a lawn set so I can only hope! Next time I'm going for PIT tix.. which I wanted this time either pit or lawn cuz in my opinion the other seats aren't worth it at this venue.. but we all know how that ended up thanks to Presale! Does anyone even read the novels I write in my posts? Hahah.. I don't post that often, so I'm just making up for it. YAYYY!!! SOOOO CLOSEEEE!!!! :D

Thank you SOOO MUCH!! You are a life-saver! That sounds very doable, so it should work out fine. They just pick such unperfect timing to begin their construction on I95! Thanks so much again!!!

NO! I have a final the day after the concert 10:30-12:30. If I don't take the final I'll most likely fail the class and receive no credit. So yeahhh.. need another way back!

SO--- Okay so I came home from college this weekend cuz I wanted to and so while my mom was making dinner I was in the sunroom and my dad was watching Jeopardy. It's apparently college student champion week or something and after the first commercial Alex Trebek goes to the contestants and they share an interesting fact. My dad thought the guy in the middle looked like the cartoon kid on the MAD Comics [with the red hair and freckles and big smile] and you're probably wondering by now if you're even still reading this why I'm telling you well the middle guy's fun fact was that "People often think I look like Chris Martin from Coldplay" HE SOOOO DOES NOT!!! "Or people think I look like Bob Marley" Yeah.. okay.. keep dreaming. OH and then Alex Trebek asked him who he would rather look like and he said "Bob Marley, because I don't really know who Chris Martin is or what he looks like." AND HE WAS ON JEOPARDY'S CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT AND HE DOESN'T KNOW WHO CHRIS MARTIN IS!!!!! THAT'S CRAZYNESS!!!! My mom was laughing. She thought it was funny that all of this happened the NIGHT I was home and it was on our tv hahah. Okay just wanted to share another random Coldplay story with you all, cuz that's what I do! CANNOT WAIT FOR THE CONCERT!! + Okay so I have another HUGE problem with the concert actually.. my dad's suggestion was to Forget Coldplay and I was like UHHH NOOO!!! While I was driving home to Philly from Delaware I saw signs on I95 that said that "Starting 5/26/09 I95 night construction work will begin 10pm-5am." UGH! So now I don't know what to do to get back to Delaware after the concert. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS OF WHAT WOULD BE A BETTER WAY TO GET BACK TO SCHOOL ON THE 26TH AFTER THE CONCERT [technically the 27th I guess since it'll be late] WITHOUT GOING ON I95?! Please help me!! Thanks!

I WISH MY MOM WAS A COLDPLAY FAN!! She did go to me to two of the shows [my first two] but she doesn't like them; she just likes them in the sense that I like them so she likes them because I like them, but she doesn't really like them, if that made any sense. And yes, at those two shows she was the only person sittingn down in the entire row, pretty much the entire section. I did get her to stand up and actually sing the chorus to Everything's Not Lost at the 2005 show though! + As far as cameras go---At the 2005 show when I was there, I was paranoid that I would get my new digital camera confiscated and I didn't want that to happen, but I DID want pics of my favorite guys, so I went to the store and bought a disposable camera to take pics so that way if I got in with it I'd have pics and if they confiscated it then at least it wasn't my good digital camera. So I got inside with it and there was actually a part of the show where on the back screen Coldplay had the words "GET YOUR CAMERAS READY!!" And then it was the audience on the screen! And that was also the show when the guys had their own cameras and took pics of themselves then threw the cameras into the crowd. So yeah, Susquehanna Bank Center [then the Tweeter Center] said online No Cameras but Coldplay said to GET YOUR CAMERAS READY! So yeah.. Every show since then I've been bringing my digital camera in no problem. Just stick it in the bottom of my purse and put a lot of mushy stuff like some papers or a motrin bottle or a couple pens on top and they never get as far down as the camera. So yeah that's about it haha. I'm super excited for 2 weeks from right now!!! Cuz right now will be approximately when they come on stage! Possibly a little bit earlier. + As far as what I'm wearing, probably a Coldplay 2005 Tour shirt and a skirt. Nothing fancy. I'm not a believer in the "don't wear a shirt for the band you're seeing" as some of my friends are; I feel that if you love them, show it! haha. :o) + I can't wait to spend all of the money I own on MORE Coldplay clothes and accessories! I am guessing that they have updated the tour merchandise because online they have new things? Anyone know what's going on with that? Yayyy. :D

Okay so I have an exciting story to tell you guys. My school has a student center which is basically like a food court with a bunch of tables and students get food and eat it or they sit at the tables to hang out or do homework. So I was there yesterday and went to sit with my friends and there was a guy playing guitar and singing, mostly Jason Mraz songs. No big deal. I went to class then came back again afterward and the guy was all done so they were playing a stereo on the big speakers that he was originally using. I got there and heard Twisted Logic and I was like AHH IT'S COLDPLAY!! So I was really excited. Then I was so happy I made it in time for the Coldplay song and what happened next? ANOTHER Coldplay song came on! Then I realized OMG THEY'RE PLAYING THE WHOLE CD! It was pretty much AMAZINGGG and the highlight of my day. I just happened to be wearing my Coldplay VLV shirt yesterday, too! Haha sooo amazing. It's like the feeling of hearing Coldplay on the radio [which I know you all love cuz I do!] except like to the 10358th power. It was great. + Also--You know how I have a final the day after the concert at 10:30am? Well my professor today said "I made some changes to the final," and I'm thinking NEW DATE?!?!?! or LATER TIME?!?!! Cuz either would be amazing for me. But no, he just took away the essay part of it, which is still good but I would have rather had it on a different day or later on that day! I did pretty well on the essay portions anyway haha. Okay end of the novel, if any of you even read it. :-P

1) Doesn't the crows always sing/chant for Everything's Not Lost [and everything else?] 2) I'd love for them to play Green Eyes, even though it's probably unlikely because they played it in Philly July '08. 3) I was walking back from classes today and this girl in front of me had a tattoo across her upper back, not huge, just the right size, and it said Viva La Vida in a pretty script. I thought it was the coolest thing ever and I had to tell you guys haha. [just don't comment saying "oh that was me!" cuz that'd be weird hahah]. 4) Do you think they're gonna do anything with regards to our concert and to others because of the Swine Flu? I'm scared cuz 4 possible cases just came up on my campus and I was thinking, is there any way they would like cancel or postpone our show till the epidemic dies down? 5) dunno why I numbered this hahah 6) I love Everything's Not Lost as well, and I would also love if they played it. It's SO inspirational and uplifting, definitely my "go-to song" when I'm having a bad day cuz Chris sings it the way it is!! 7) Ummmmmm can't wait for the concert duhhh! 8) I finally have my car on campus now and I LOVE driving around with the windows down on nice days like today/yesterday and blaring some beautiful Coldplay! :D 9) I like the number 9 cuz I was born on the 9th of November! hahaha. Okay I'm done now.

Yeahhh I know.. now I'm screwing up my finals schedule for lawn seats when I could have had Pit tix.. I didn't wanna get almost good seats for extra $$ at first cuz they weren't that good for that price [the 100s and 200s in my opinion] so I got lawn seats cuz they were cheaper and it's hard to find people to go with you know when it's like $100+ a ticket. I wish I had waited out.. then I could have gotten a pit ticket and it would have been more worth screwing up my finals schedule! But hopefully it won't be too bad. One teacher did move another final to that Wednesday..... BUT she said that if it's a problem for us we can take it the Friday the week before, so that would def be better for me! Haha.

Good luck to all of you.. I'll have to try for the soundcheck at the next Coldplay show in the area cuz I have a final 3:30-5:30, so I won't be able to get there any bit early unless the final gets moved or if for some reason the teacher lets me take it early! [we'll see how that goes..]

There might be like a back room or underground thingi for the sound check.. but I dunno!

^^ My friend once got tickets to a Fall Out Boy/All American Rejects/Hawthorne Heights concert that was at the Sovereign Bank Arena back when it was called the Tweeter Center, and she called me literally like 4 hours before the concert started to ask if I wanted to go. What happened was that her and her parents called the SBC box office the day of and got the tickets for I think it was Section 103? But they were not expensive, regular price I think [that concert was only like $30 cuz they're not as amazing as Coldplay, duh]. So anyway, what happened was that it was the seats next to the handicapped spaces, which are reserved for people going with someone who is handicapped, and they didn't sell them so she called and got them, then picked them up at Will Call at the SBC when we got there and it was great! So that's probably what they do.. well.. at least one of the things they do haha.

Yeah.. I'm still in shock that PIT tix came up.. I've never been so fortunate as to even have the opportunity to purchase them! But I already have tix and I don't want to buy MORE tix.. bleh.. what should I do?! Any ideas? + anyone know any really reliable ways of selling tix??
