  1. I had crazy ticket buying experiences too.. you can read previous pages if you want.. but I got Section 4, Row 4, Seat 4! haha :) CAN'T WAITTT!!! <3
  2. + wait.. If you think that story was hilarious.. you'd probably appreciate the story of what happened when I bought the tickets for the April 6, 2006 show.. I was sitting at my desk in my room an hour before the tickets were up for sale waiting eagerly at ticketmaster.com. The time came when they went on sale and I went to purchase my tickets. I went through a few results that came up and got one I liked. I was very happy and went to click "Purchase tickets" and saw I only had a few minutes before they were to be released.. and what happened???? The computer froze. SO of COURSE I lost the tickets I wanted!! Then I was SO angry that I kicked my feet against the wall under my desk when I realized my foot actually went through the wall.. big hole.. lol. That was kindof hard to explain to my parents back then! Then had to restart the computer, get back on the site and do it all over again only to get seats that were not as close for more money. BUT...... ironically the seats ended up being really great actually. Cuz they were in the 100 something section but it was the part right on the end of the row.. where there was like a balcony because the row ended and that was where the people on the lower level would walk out onto the floor so I had no one sitting there and no one in front of me AND elevated seating.. so it still turned out great. (of course, it's COLDPLAY! haha) But yeah.. It's ALWAYS SOOO stressful buying these tickets!!
  3. " Haha that's hilarious. And I just noticed, reading your sig, that we've been to every single Coldplay show together! Are those the only ones you've been to? Dave " [i don't know how to get the quote thing to work haha.. so I improvised! oops!] Yeah those are all the ones I've been to.. and APPARENTLY when I was in Australia in 2003 they were there at the SAME time! Would've been great to see them there!! But I probably wouldn't have been able to though haha.
  4. When I went on to buy the tickets exactly at 10, it had me "queued" for about 10 minutes.. so I called the comcastix number and then as I did that it stopped being "queued" so I went to select "best available" to see what it would give me.. since last time when I bought the tix for the 7/25 show it came up with floor seats under best available. This time it went straight to section 102 for best available, so I went back and tried selecting the floor seats.. and it came up with Section 5. But I wanted to see if there was anything better so then it came up with section 7, which I was mad about cuz I liked 5 better (closer!) but 7 was seats 1-2 so it'd be on the end and I could lean out.. but then they both disappeared (dumb site!) and I did it again and it came up as section 9.. so I was pretty bummed.. and mad at myself for not taking the 5, so I tried it one more time and I thought I was like hallucinating when I saw it said ''SECTION 4!! So my seat is SECTION 4, ROW 4, SEAT 4!!! haha and it's on 11/1, and the charge amount was $234.50. Crazy or what?! But yeahh.. I'M EXCITEDDD!!! + I'm also coming home from school for the show.. but I go to school in Delaware so it's not that bad, just like 3 hours of trains unless I can get the car there.. We'll see.. but yay.. COLDPLAY!!! :D
  5. Hey!! My story is similar to maley422.. I've been a fan for a WHILE and just been reading the updates and looking around but I didn't realize until this week that apparently I've been receiving the email newsletters and all but I wasn't registered! So I quickly took care of that!! I live in a suburb of Philly.. 15 minutes from Philly, which is why I'm posting on here!! Gotta love Philly!! :-D + I am planning on going to the November 1st show.. and having a hard time finding my friends in the area to pay $100+ for the tickets, plus a lot of them go far away for college so I hope it all works out! I'm buying 2 tickets tomorrow morning anyway. :)
  6. Hey all! I'm def going to the show in Philly!! So apparently I've been avidly reading this site and the emails and everything for like ever.. and I JUST realized that I apparently never registered lol.. so I'm still working on getting the whole profile/account thing working. So question.. anyone else having a hard time finding people to go with who are willing to pay $100+ to go to the concert? Cuz my friends aren't as much into Coldplay as I am (still dunno why! Trying to convert them.. getting there.) so just curious. Any tips/suggestions of how to convince them to dish out the cash to see the best and most amazing band ever? Let me know! It worked for one for the show in July.. but everyone will be back at college for this show. So yeah just let me know! Thanks!!
