Another 'Kraut' here *lol* - Hamburg calling!
Thanks everyone :) Sorry for not being around much, but my computer was messed up and I hardly had freetime to come here. I am currently in Munich, will be attending the concert tonight, was more or less a short notice decision ;) Hopefully find more time next week to be here :)

G1?? We will be there too :) :) We, that's my friend Iwona and myself. I am from Hamburg, have seen them there on September 14th and was completely blown away :o So great that I had to go all the way down to Munich with the train and a waggonload of drunken tourists heading for the Oktoberfest :) ;) Which row do you have seats for? We will be sitting row 12, seats 5 & 6 (if I remember it correctly). Maybe see you there?! I am wearing a green shirt, talk to me :)

The Confetti Mailing Exchange!
I have been to the Hamburg show and we've had balcony seat, at least it was a higher level and therefore we weren't lucky to get any confetti. My friend Iwona and I will be attending the Munich concert tonight but again we only managed to get tickets on a higher level (lucky to get tickets at all :) ). So if anyone would be so kind to share some confetti with us, that would be simply amazing. We only realized that it was butterflies on some of the photos, from above it looked like plain coloured confetti ... Would be great if anyone could help us out :) Thanks heaps!!!!

I don't know for sure whether they flew to London or not. All I know is that they were not supposed to stay overnight in Hamburg. Maybe they also flew directly to Berlin? Who knows for sure anyway? But then again ... it wouldn't change anything nor would it help anyone ... ;) I just concluded it as they only flew into Hamburg on Sunday afternoon and because the concert ended (what I thought was) quite early - just in time to reach the airport before the nightflight restriction sat in :\

Another 'Kraut' here *lol* - Hamburg calling!
Hiya everyone :) My name's Kirsten and I guess I am probably one of the more 'mature' forum posters here ;) *hehe* Well, mature relates to my age, not to the state of my mind :laugh3: Like many other people, I knew Coldplay's music for quite some time but didn't pay too much attention to them, what they stand for, what they are like aso. Loved the album 'X&Y' and 'SOS' is probably my alltime fave track, next to 'Trouble' and a dozen others *lol* I am feeling really ashamed that I didn't see them live until Sept. 14th, 2008. One time I was close to buy tickets for a concert in Hamburg but I can't remember why I didn't do it?! So then the new album came and 'Violet Hill' as a first single. Honestly speaking, it took some time until it grew on me, but when I heard 'Viva La Vida' I was totally in love with that song and I guess I heard it on repeat for a couple of days ... my poor neighbours *lol* As I mentioned, September 14th, 2008 was my first Coldplay 'live experience' and I just loved it. Even the usual cold and reserved Hamburg crowd was really into it and from the very beginning the atmosphere was amazing. Haven't seen such a brilliant concert in a long time. Well, unfortunately only managed to see the band live once, but I will try to get some tickets for the UK - anywhere! My 'problem' is, that I have a bigger holiday in November/December and therefore the dates for a concert are limited but maybe I will be lucky to get some tickets somewhere :) That would definately make my day :) Great to have found this place and I guess I will be here more often from now on :)

Really??! :stunned: I don't want to be ungrateful or else but I thought that being able to choose songs from four albums would also enable them to play a longer set, especially when you see the ticket prices but I guess that's quite common to have prices like that. But thanks for clearing that up. :) Now I feel less sad, 'cause I honestly thought that we would get a shorter performance due to their need to catch their flight ... ;)

German Fans?
Zt. Höllenqualen von wegen Entzug :(

Maybe I can lighten up this incident ... My friend and I tried to meet the band before the concert, well, we checked some of the hotels celebs usually stay in while being in Hamburg and we were told at one hotel, that the band cancelled their booking short notice because they left Cologne right for London and would only fly in from London for the show and would leave straight afterwards. Well, I guess it's more than obvious that spending time with their families is the most precious thing to do when being on tour for 18 months ... Right now while touring Europe they can still do it (flying back to London, I mean) but I guess they won't when they are in the US or elsewhere because the distances are too big :( That was probably also another reason why the concert ended quite early (if you ask me, they could have played a bit longer ...). Hamburg airport has a night flight restriction, landings and departures are only allowed until 11 pm. So when finishing at 10.25 pm they really had to hurry to reach the airport in time ;)

Okay :) Here I am, I am new to this forum but I love Coldplay's music for some time now, but as many people, didn't pay too much attention on the band, who they are, what they do aso. You probably get what I mean, as it happened to some of you as well - maybe?! I have to confess that I bite my behind, that I didn't buy more tickets for different shows such as Berlin or Munich :( I have only been to the Hamburg show and ... holy cow ... what a concert it was!! It was also the first time I saw the band playing live and I was a bit unsure before 'cause I have seen a footage of the BBC concert in London, and honestly saying I thought the sound and Chris voice wasn't in best form :( So my fear was that it could be the same but I was proven wrong (and I am more than happy about that!!). The show was absolutely amazing and now I am sitting here with extreme withdrawal symptoms and I am suffering terribly because I soooo want to see them again. I will probably ask for spare tickets in a different topic (spare tickets for the UK leg of the tour, that is) but I came here to share some photos I have taken. They aren't something special but a least for me an excellent reminder of this unforgetable evening :) Here we go: This was the closest my zoom lense could get to Chris Martin ;) What a sight!!
