  1. Yes, Elbow was AMAZING! Hope they come back on their own cos I am def. going to see them. I started listening to them when I heard they were opening for Coldplay and fell in love with a lot of their songs.
  2. WHAT AN AMAZING SHOW! MY NIECE AND I HAD AN AMAZING TIME!! :D WE'RE STILL ON A HIGH!!!
  3. Hey guys and gals! I'm in the pit tonight but one of the few not lining up early. I hope the back of the pit is still gonna be good. Anyone else not lining up early and has pit tickets? If so, I'll see ya in the back! :) HAVE AN AWESOME TIME, EVERYONE!
  4. I'm taking the lovely butterfly flag banner! :) But no, I'm not making anything.
  5. Jonbenar and ApproximatelyInfinite - thanks for your responses. At this point, I ain't gonna worry too much about being near or at the back of the pit...I have no choice at this point. Anyway, I'm sure the stage will be elevated enough that we'll see just fine... By the way, she's 12 and just as tall as I am! P.S. SO EXCITED! HAVE AN AWESOME TIME, EVERYONE!
  6. This just made the pit of my stomach drop. I was hoping to chill at the back of the GA with my niece because I can't realistically expect her to stand in line for 12 hours...and then get crushed up front.
  7. Well, as a green eyed gal I was very appreciative that a band finally wrote a song about green eyed girls (if you notice, all the songs are about brown eyes and blue eyes). :D As for buying shirts and stuff, it all depends if you are adamant about not losing your spot. If you want to be in the front of the stage you must get there early, but if you don't mind hanging out near the back of the pit, you'll be able to come and go without worrying about losing your spot. As for me, I don't mind chilling in the back of the pit with my niece cos I think anywhere you are in there it's gonna be a great spot.
  8. I'm all for it! But sh*t! I ran out of coloured ink...I'll have to run to a copy center and have it printed there. I'll be looking out for everyone. :D
  9. Yeah, I'm not too worried about her being 12 years old and in the GA section. She'll be fine. I'll be fine. Coldplay will be awesome. Like someone said before, I would much rather her first concert to be Coldplay than some crap boy toy band. :smug:
  10. Yeah, it's a bit different than the one I saw before...but it's all good. :)
  11. Hey ya'll, Don't know if all of you have seen this new seating chart (well, I didn't see it before) - it came in the email from the Rogers Centre. http://www.rogerscentre.com/seatmaps/2009_Coldplay_Seating.pdf
  12. OK, so I just got into Elbow over the past few months (since I heard they were opening for Coldplay and possibly U2) and have to admit I totally love their music. I'm SO HAPPY that they're playing Station and One Day Like This (my two fav songs by theirs). P.S. For the first time I'm actually looking forward to the opening act! :D
  13. Yeah, that's the email I got. I guess that means no open roof...too bad cos that would have added to the atmosphere of the show...but then again, it's gonna be amazing no matter what! :D
