...I just saw an ad for the MTV Video Music Awards and I am so very pissed! Coldplay will be performing and are being advertised as "Gwyneth's boyfriend's band". THAT IS COMPLETE SHITE!!! I can't even watch any of her dumbass movies for fear that she'll have her crappy excuse for a British accent. I don't want to turn this into a bash Gwyneth thread, but give credit where it's due ~ Coldplay has been famous for years ~ their music is fanfuckingtastic and their political beliefs have made thousands of screaming teenage girls pick up a newspaper or watch the news and that alone elevates them to modern hero status.....Gwyneth has made some movies. It is completely disrespectful to Will, Johnny and Guy. Coldplay is a band. It's not the Chris Martin show; he's been very vocal about that. It's hard not to say something about stereotypical Americans here, but I did a quiz earlier and apparently, I'm the neighbourly sort, so I'll stop here.
