    Agree with Meedge I stumbled on this page out of sheer boredom, and found this thread quite amusing... Meedge's assessment of Coldplay is grounded in fact, not opinion... all the clamouring of "why can't we like both?" is juvenile rhetoric , suitable for the brain deficient. FACT: U2, like all good bands(pixies, radiohead, nirvana, smiths) is not a slave to its influences, but an almagamation of all its inspirations presented into something new and constantly evolving.
