i'm not really a big fan of sunny days. in fact on really sunny days i wish it was raining. [don't ask why i live in australia :P] anyway! to the point i like to listen to 'rainy day' simply for the beautiful melody and the lyrics 'oh rainy day come 'round. Somtimes i just want it to slow down.' :nice: but on a sunny day i really love to listen to the lovers in japan acoustic. it makes me melt with happiness. also maybeh daylight LIVE from live 2003. :)

guys seriously bands cannot afford to not stage concerts these days. especially if they are big. something could go wrong and then people will criticize and then everything will be chaotic. coldplay always put in a little extra something everywhere they go. they have a lot of things to do! i mean come on its not like you are travelling the world doing a show almost every single night. you would be dead tired. the main thing is at least they are touring! they love their fans and as I said every single show they will always add in a little personal touch that's different to any other show. deal with it and appreciate the hard work.

i agree with both sides of this. sometimes yeah i wish they would settle down just for a couple of songs, but then i love it when they put they're energy in it. In their defence I think they are having alot of fun with all their new props. I guess they love the atmosphere. I think they have loosened up alot. Especially Guy. He used to kinda just stand in one spot but now he's moving around and singing. Basically I'm just really of proud with what they achieved. Ooo also I think they are starting to feel the pressures of mainstream you know? They have so many new fans and I think they want to expand the show and try make everyone happy? but of course that isn't possible because there will always be one unhappy person. :)

just a quick thing: I was only expressing what I thought.. just my opinion. And I know what you guys mean about not having anyone to talk about Coldplay to. Sure there are people in my school who LIKE viva la vida but they know nothing else, therefore not being able to talk about anything else about coldplay other than the plagiarism and the song viva. I don't know it just annoys me how some people listen to one song, think that's brilliant and then not look up others? If you know what I mean. If I heard a song I really liked then usually I would research more into the band or whatever and listen to their other stuff. Give the band a fair go before I go around and say if I like the band or if I only like a couple of their songs. Btw. I do understand about people who only like one or two songs from a band. BUT the thing that DOES annoy me is if they prance around saying they love them when they only know of one or two songs. Hope that makes things clearererrr. :)

Two things I REALLYREALLY uberly need to get off my chest. No.1 VIVA LA VIDA what a fantastic song.. not one of Coldplay's best in my opinion but I really think it's pure genious. So you are probably wondering where is my rant.. well here it goes: I realised that once Viva la vida came out everyone had taken a liking to it. It being a comeback song to get their old fans back and also a sort of breakthrough scene into real mainstream. The thing I hate are the people who prance around saying how much they love Coldplay when really they only started liking them literally yesterday. I just find it ridiculous how these people think they know everything about coldplay. Half the people at my school do it and it's ridiculous! Viva is the only song that is listened to of coldplay anymore! When I was looking up coldplay videos I realised how little the other songs are being listened to/watched whereas viva la vida has been basically killed on the radio, telly box, music stores.. JUST EVERYWHERE! No.2 THESE BLOODY PLAGIARISM ACCUSATIONS. Okay so here is my logic. If that satriani guy accuses them.. fair enough, whatever. I don't give a stuff about him, he can go and hide in a box somewhere. BUT SERIOUSLY! Cat stevens.. surely he can see the logic. Why isn't he accusing satriani!!!?!?! Satriani's song was released before Coldplay. But noooooo it's gang up on Coldplay because they are really famous right now and let's try smash them down to the ground while they are really high up the popularity ladder. Next thing you know the bloody pussy cat dolls will be accusing them of something ridiculous. Well thankyou to whoever read this. I probably sound like an idiot anyway. I just really needed to get that off my mind. :)

Greeetings :) I'm new to coldplaying and I just wanted to pop by and say hello :) I'm here to make friends of course and to find coldplay things I don't already have xD Some say I am slighty -cough- obsessed with coldplay.. my friends say I need help haha I'm cool. Yeh anyway so I hope everyone has a great day/night depending on where you live in the world. Coldplay only just stopped over in Brisbane just over a week ago and bloody hell that was fantastic. I've been to see them live twice now! So yes I must stop talking before everyone gets sick of me. haha xD

+ when you watch every single interview with coldplay on youtube.. well all the ones you can find.. + you download every single acoustic version of a coldplay song.. + when your friends say you need help.. + every time they come to your country you buy tickets and line up millions of hours beforehand just to stand a couple of metres away from them.. + when the background of your phone is coldplay.. + when you have a million coldplay posters up in your room.. + when you surf the internet the whole day just to find rare coldplay material.. + when you hear a word that has something to do with a coldplay song you start singing that song.. ohhh and theres many more i must say.. :D

Greetings you lovely people. I was youtubing coldplay... as usual and I keep coming across these videos where coldplay has a little acoustic session in Japan. I was wondering if anyone could help me find the mp3s for it? They are so beautiful and i would really like them on my iPod. :) p.s. went to coldplay concert in brisbane on the 9th of march 2009.. this was my second coldplay concert and my god it was AMAZING. one of the most best nights of my life.
