  1. I think the crowd sounded kind of quiet due to the acoustics of the stadium and the fact that it wasn't full - there just weren't as many people there as there should have been. I have to confess that I sat down for one song, mostly because the people behind me were sitting down and I felt bad that they couldn't see, but then I thought, heck with them - they should be standing up! I loved how the band came to our section to play Day Dream believer. They were in the displaced Scranton section - I thought that was the perfect way for them to make up for the Scranton concert being canceled. ;) Too bad the butterflies and yellow balls never made it over our way.
  2. I went to the concert last night with my son and his girlfriend. This was his 16th birthday present along with a flip video camera. The flip came in handy, because when they played in the stands towards the end of the concert, they played in our row, just across the aisle!! They were literally 20 feet away. I was so excited and then I remembered I had my iphone and could take a picture! I had zipped it away in my purse in a bag that had our rain jackets so it took me awhile to dig it out. I was so excited that I think my hands were shaking when I finally got it out and took a couple of pictures. Doubtful that they came out very well anyway since the guys were on our row, we just got their profiles. They were so close though that we could see them sweating. What a wonderful night! My son thanked me several times, which made the hour and a half drive all worth it.
  3. I was also looking forward to seeing Coldplay at Scranton but decided to go to the Hershey concert instead after the cancellation. I bought my tickets on-line right after I got the e-mail about the cancellation in Scranton, and THEN read here about what the password was for the reserved seats in Hershey for us displaced people. I figured it wouldn't make much difference but after finally getting the official e-mail yesterday with the password, I figured I would call the ticketing agency and see if they would switch my tickets to the preferred seating - and they did! It's about 18 rows difference. Still in the grandstand but a bit lower.
