  5. Strawberry Swing 5 One I Love 3
  6. Yeah it is. So you have ADHD with less hyparactivity.. That's interesting  I've never heard about these medications. I really don't know if/how Ritalin's gonna work for me but I guess if it doesn't work, I'll try something else. I have a huge loss of appetite, now I eat maybe half of what I used to eat. But I wouldn't mind losing a few pounds :) Yeah it does. I also have to do something like that.
  7. Well that's what I was looking for.
  8. Mo, you're my saving angel for saving my thread :) I didn't know it runs in the family! I'm the only one in the whole family who has it I guess.. Yeah I hear yah.. I guess it's just because I only found out about it a month ago myself. I need to find a way to explain it to others. I'm just really insecure and I quickly think that people won't understand and think that I'm trying to make up excuses or something. Yes it is. And I do think it's a disability, because it had a bad influence on how I function.
  9. Uhm.. The fact that I wanted to go to bed at 1 and that it's now 3.37? :uhoh:
  10. I knew you wouldn't :) I will do my best. Although I can't take your advice seriously, as you have no experience. Now let's continue this off-topic spamming somewhere else.. Because I feel my thread is being waisted, and my intentions really were very serious.
  11. Shoot I started this thread in a very serious mood and now we're going off-topic all the time :uhoh:
  12. I guess I had an autistic attack than.. :P It is a good idea though :P I need to get way more spammy.
  13. I'm not sure if that's typical for ADD
  14. Difficult.. But I'm gonna go for SS Strawberry Swing 5 One I Love 3
  15. Bloodless Revolution 3 Amsterdam 5
  16. Most of the time he annoyes the crap out of me :P But he's really sweet. It's just hard to realize he can't help it everytime. By the way, to the people who read this and want to talk about ADD but think that they're not wanted anymore bacause we've gone way off-topic, you're still welcome!!
  17. No Space Cadet also has ADD. He's low functioning.
  18. Wiki says high functioning autism is autism without the intellectual handicap. So true.
  19. Uhm I've never heard of high functioning  From what I know there's 'regular' autism, Asperger's, Rett's, PDD-NOS and desintegration disorder (I translated the last one..) We're going a bit off-topic btw.. Gotta go, dinner's ready
  20. Even if you were weird, what's wrong with that? Normal people are boring! :dozey: Yeah that is weird.. He is 'regular', you? Thank you, it was amazing! :P
  21. I'm here! :) That is exactly one of the main characteristics of AD(H)D. The side-effects are different for everybody. I haven't had major problems with them yet, luckily. And I wouldn't mind losing a few pounds :P Ahw Crests I love you! I don't think you're weird at all! Oh and my brother is autistic too. I gotta go copy and poste something, I'll be back in about 15 mins!
  22. Are you sure that he has ADD, and not ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)? That seems more likely to me. And you're born with it, so I think he's known about it since he was 3. By the way I'm not so good with the quoting thing :\ This sort of reaction is exactly why I'm a bit scared to tell people about it. I'm not saying that people with ADD are pathetic stupid and incapapble of anything.. I'm doing the 2nd highest level of high school myself, and I'm doing the best I can. I have no doubt sleep-deprivation is often the problem, but it couldn't explain all the symptons. You can never be a 100% sure of ADD. It's caused by a lack or shortage of neurotransmitters in your brain, and you simply can't check how much of these neurottransmitters you have. But they do a lot of testing and questioning, and with that and your history, I think you can get a pretty good diagnosis. Thanks for the support  I'm not having major sleep issues yet. When I go to sleep, it's not working anymore. Now I have no school, I go to bed late and I sleep late. I have to take my first dose at 10 am at the latest, and sometimes it's hard to fall asleep after that. I just need to find a rythm. I really don't know how it's gonna go when school starts, though. My doctor told me when I should take it, so I'm just gonna stick to that and see how it goes. Yeah I get what you mean. I'm completely aware of my lack of concentration, and I always try to find a way of focussing. That is exactly my story.
