Yeah. I read that one review here and kinda scratched my head. I will try to do one maybe late tonight. We are going down to MB now for 4th of July celebrations. I thought it was a great show. Had lots of fun for sure! Oh and yes, I guess if ur in the right spot and female, u can get a kiss. I dont want a kiss personally, but maybe a hand slap or fist bump would be cool. lol

I didnt notice him kissing the girl when it happened last night, but I noticed it while watching the video today and apparently some other people saw this. I guess she has a claim to fame now. lol I do remember during this song when Chris says "Wait a minute. We fucked that up really badly. Hey guys!! Thanks, bbb, for the links!!! I am having trouble working with the .flac files. I did figure out through google how to open the .rar folder and then the .flac files in windows media player. I have to play one at a time, though, because it will not recognize the file type into a playlist or play the whole folder. Does anyone know how to open .flac files in itunes??? Cannot get that to work. Also, how much is the sound quality degraded by converting to mp3??? Would love to get this on ipod and also burn a cd without losing quality. Thanks to whoever taped this!!! It's great to be able to listen to the concert again!!! Btw, who is the girl in the background who sounds like she is being murdered??? lol Thunder

I was in the PIT at the Charlotte show on Aug 7th. Even though I had read on here about the free cd and Chris announced it just before doing The Scientist, I nearly forgot about it on the way out! I was still buzzing from the excitement of the concert I guess. We had lingered in the PIT briefly after the show so by no means was I one of the first out. There was a big crowd heading to the gates, and I heard somebody up ahead say "you don't need another one of those-you already have one" which reminded me about the cd. So I looked around, and close by there was an event staffer handing them out. She had one box in her hands and a couple more on the ground. People were just kind of surrounding her from all sides (not a line), so I stepped over there and she gave me a cd. It did not occur to me to try to get more than one, but there are always greedy people out there who want more than their share. :veryangry2: Anyway, I really did not have a problem getting a cd, and I appreciate the gesture by Coldplay to give a cd to the fans who paid to see them. It's hard to say what would be the best way to disperse the cds. Crowds can be hard to control, and there are always people who are going to try to break the rules. Giving them out after the show seems ok to me, but it depends on the good faith that people will not abuse that and try to take multiple copies for themselves. If you give them out before the show, people have to keep up with the cd for the whole concert. I probably would have lost mine in the PIT!! Plus that would kind of steal the thunder of Coldplay getting to make the announcement to the crowd. I do hope everyone that went to a concert is able to get a copy - it's a great cd!! Thunder

Those are my exact thoughts !!! Hey guys - Well, tonight was the first time I have seen Coldplay live, and I must admit that I was blown away!! Great show!!! Damn!!! The crowd was large and loud, and it was amazing seeing Coldplay from 10 feet away! I had a great time with you guys down in the pit - gmalool, pguild, holycatfish87, lostinreverie. I think we had a block of about 9-10 people and did a pretty good job of controlling that area and raising hell in there!!! It is so much more enjoyable when the crowd is into the concert and everyone is so enthusiastic!!! I would love to do it again with you guys the next time Coldplay tours!! Hey guys! I was able to get pit tix to this concert through a broker and received them via fedex today!! I am really excited to get to see Coldplay live!!! Hope to see some of you there! Question for gmalool - What can you tell me about the pit setup?? The tix say general admission, but they also have a row and seat no. (row 1, seat 29 & 30). I am confused. I called the venue today, and all they could tell me was that there were 500 tix sold in the pit area. Do you know if it is going to be assigned seating or true GA?? If it is true GA, how early do you need to get there to be at or near the front?? They told me the gates open at 4pm. I will be driving up from SC the day of the show and am trying to determine when to leave. Also, what do you know about the stage extending into the pit?? I heard the sides were a good spot as well.
