True. So has anyone ever seen a UFO, I saw something weird once, it was three lights in a triangle and they flew for a while and then suddenly disappeared. I was really psyched when it happened, but then I realized it probably looked the way it did because I wasn't wearing my glasses, and I can't see a damn thing without them :(

I understand that it would be near imposible for an avanced alien race to find us even if they existed. But I don't know how familiar you are with the Type 1,2,3 and 4 civilzation theory, Kaku talks about it. I know, but I really want aliens to exist so badly, I know it's weird but I the thought of never ever seeing or knowing about another life-form in the universe scares me. If there is one thing that I really want is for us to be in contact with some type of a alien species, even if it's not intelligent.

I think that aliens definitely exist somewhere out there in the universe, but I don't think we have ever been visited by them. I think it's pretty arrogant and ignorant of someone to believe that aliens don't exits at all.

I find it interesting that the men on this thread don't care about name change, but a lot of the women want to change their names.

Would you take your spouses last name after marriage, and what are your thoughts about this practice? Personally I would keep my last name and if I have kids I would hyphenate their name. yes, there is always power and money involved when it comes to these issues, but that doesn't mean that all those people got together and concocted this massive plan, do you know that for the 9/11 conspiracy to work it would reqiure hundreds of people keeping quiet about it. Do you really think that all those people, have been keeping qiuet for 10 years.

first of all I am a history major, and I have read a lot of history, and I didn't say you were being rude, I just said you were attacking us personally instead of responding to our arguments. and as for war being business, I explained that in my previous post but you never responded to it. and btw the website is my opinion :rolleyes:

there is always someone who is going to make money during a war, there have been people who have profited in every single war since the biginning, that doesn't mean that those people started the war. If your company makes weapons, or army uniforms, or supplies the army with food, you will make money no matter what. it's a shame that you didn't read the website, it would have helped. and as for the money bit, this so called "war on terror" has put the USA in trillions of dollars in debt, so I am just wondering who is getting this money and where they are getting it from.
