Hello everyone, Im new and wanted to find the meaning behind Scientist, but found no meaning, other than its about relationships. This is, if anyone even cares is what I got from this song. It tells me the story of God. He comes to us, telling us that He's sorry that we dont know how lovely we are in His eyes. He tells each one of us that He has set us apart. Hes always there, and wants us to tell Him our secrets and ask our questions. He wants us to go back to the start. He wants us to tell Him the whole story of our life. He says that not even I God, said this world was going to be easy or be this hard, that's why its a shame that any of us should be apart from Him. He tries to tear out the puzzle pieces, because where He was supposed to be placed, weve put "relationships, drugs, sports, money, and less than a perfect love" He then says that things like science and progress, the myth of evolution, trying to prove He doesnt exist, will never speak as loud as His heart. We are running in circles, chasing our tails, God wants us to go back to the start. The start of His way, where He wanted to have a relationship with us, and talk with us, walk with us, and to always be there for us to tell our stories to. Its such a shame you dont know how lovely you are, and for us and Him to be apart. Now, this was just my thought of the meaning of the song.
