We're up to 10 members on the GroupMe! I'll reach out to the people at the front of this thread later tonight. Sometime tomorrow we need to decide on a definite plan of attack for Friday morning. It looks like just meeting up at the North entrance before the gates open will be solid, but it will help to also know what people will be wearing and the exact location as well. Can't wait now! Only a work day and drive stand in my way!

Ok so far I've sent email invites to anacaren08 and JackZ. When you guys get on, send a test message or something to give the system a try. I'll be sure to check my inbox frequently to make sure no one gets missed.

Ok, I'm making a group called "Coldplayers". Just send me a message with your preferred email address (or a phone # if you aren't using a smartphone) on here (or you can get at me on Twitter, @Prospektor314) and I will send you the invite. Whenever I get the first person who wants in on the groupme, I'll immediately make the group. You can download the Lolla app in the Apple App Store, or just download the GroupMe app from there as well, they work the same.

Yeah excited! I too won't be in until Thursday night. So if I don't see you all beforehand, I'll see you at Grant Park! The tshirts are a blue color right? I won't have one...but I'd like to know who I'm looking for! I'm gonna get on that group message thing I suppose...I've had great experiences using those in the past, very useful.

There's a service like that available on the (free) Lollapalooza official app for iPhone. I've also used an app called "GroupMe" that works very well too...and it can be used with any phone, not just smart phones.

Good call on the shirts. As this is my first concert as a legit "Coldplayer" I was wondering the same thing. What is the calling card of the Coldplayer? As far as the weather, it's the midwest so it will change hourly. Case in point, now the ten day forecast says partly cloudy with a high of 83! I would be perfectly ok with that forecast :)

Yes! Which is going to be way better than that Cluster f**k that the iTunes streaming turned out to be. I watched the U2 concert streaming on youtube a couple years back and they did a great job.

WOOO!!! After several failed leads, I finally have a ticket for Friday! Can't wait to see the best damn band in the land and hopefully meet some Coldplayers! I'm sure I will since they'll probably be the only ones awesome enough to sit at the same stage all day in the hot sun to wait for one band to play ha ha

I've been refreshing the Lolla Facebook page all day at work (dual screen setup with one dedicated to THAT alone ha) and I have a few leads. It's all people who intended to go but now can't so most of them are going near face value. It's not until next Friday so I think I may just be able to find one on there with a little luck.

Done and done. I hope so too. I used to talk to a few Coldplayers on Twitter and they were really cool so I would love to be able to meet more people that would be crazy enough to sit all day at the same stage just to see ONE band too!
