I never played much. Cheap in that the opponents do things in a certain scripted way and there is a very specific combination required to defeat them? I don't really like it when games--often otherwise good ones--do things like that. Makes those parts of the game more like a puzzle with one solution. Can that be part of the appeal, though? Treating the game as a sort of puzzle to be solved? When I come to points like that, I usually try to work it but often end up annoyed. To me, these sort of puzzle choke points you have to pass it to advance the plot seem arbitrary to me and things I prefer to see in adventure games and not rpgs. Even action games sometimes have these. :wink3:
