Judging by this photo http://virtualglobetrotting.com/map/los-angeles-tennis-center-ucla/view/?service=1, I'm very sure section 18 won't be behind the stage. So you can all put your fears to rest.

For those curious what section 18 looks like...this is probably it. It's from a UCLA graduation. The next photo in the stream looks like the same kind of seating chart.

If you search the venue on Google Maps and zoom in with the satellite, you'll see that section 18 does not look to be in the back at all. If anything, it's much closer to where the stage will be. The only downside is that you'll probably not get a view of the drummer or the stage backdrop since it will be a side view.
