I hate my internet connection >.< Double post again.

All I can say is that everyone is entitled to an opinion and I suppose everybody that loves it is loving it as much as haters are hating it. So I don't feel I can say much about the people that dislike it because that would make me a hypocrite. However based on the fact this is a fansite I don't understand why people would bother sticking around if they "hate the new Coldplay". I'm guessing everyone that thinks that was hoping MX would be different and more like the "old Coldplay". The things is, is that Coldplay will NEVER be the same as they were. They're changing with the times, which is actually A GOOD THING, because the only reason any 60s-80s band is doing well and releasing albums (still) is because they've changed their sound. Try listening to a U2 or Rolling Stones album from the 21st century and compare it to their first stuff. I'll tell you now that U2 still does well with their fan base, I heard a figure recently that said something like they're the best Concert Ticket Selling Band right now. Hopefully (assuming they stick together) Coldplay will have changed with the times too, just enough to have a strong fan base 30 years from now (So hopefully I can sit in my old folks home and listen to the pop station xD).

I have to say agree with you on that one- 9/11 was mostly devastating to the US and to add to that it was 10 YEARS ago. Coldplay is a band- they can release what they want when they want to (only if it's agreed with the label though :P).

Amen to that! Mylo Xyloto isn't even out yet- unfortunately people feel the need to say "wow this totally blows, my band's stuff is better" rather than a simple, "eh, not my favorite". Honestly why bother bringing down everybody that likes their direction with comments about how much they've "gone downhill". I realize the Paradise clip is only 30 seconds long so I'm not gonna rip on it because it isn't the full song anyways (not that I would rip on it, I <3 it). And yeah I like Coldplay more than ever before too because I'm proud to be a fan of a band that doesn't mind what people think of their new direction. If your on a fansite don't post about how much they suck now, that's just nasty. :/

I would hate it if I am wrong (and I might be (80%) haha), but this is SO going to be all over the radio- I was sad when Major Minus wasn't played, people just don't seem to like it....It doesn't matter though- I <3 it, and I can't imagine I won't love this album.

Yes, that title was definitely put there to catch everyone's attention! :D Of course I have to say Mylo Xyloto is pushing the "attention seeking title" bit. 0__o But either way I'm excited- so excited my internet searches on MX brought me here.... My real name is Morgan- And I first heard Coldplay (with the exception of PBS using Clocks for many of their promos) back in '08 when watching an Itunes commercial and hearing Viva La Vida. I suddenly went, "WOW MOM WHO DOES THIS SONG?!". Of course she had no idea (thats my mother xD ) so I went to youtube, typed in New Itunes commercial, and after scrolling through a few pages of comments I found the artist- Coldplay. It's amazing really, my life (music wise) changed in an instant. Coldplay is my favorite band. I discovered them when I was 11, so really I must say not too shabby to kick off my musical life. I have many bands I like but I've never listened to all of their material like Coldplay. I await Paradise- days stretch slowly as I look for leaks when I get home from school. Yes, I'd download and listen to a leak in an instant, but after that I'd use my $10 worth of funds on Itunes to download a copy they get money for thats also better quality. Same with MX, I'll buy that too. I'm somewhat disappointed there isn't a leak thread, but that is ok, I can understand not making one as respect towards the band (if thats why one isn't around). But either way- I'm happy to be on here, I may not make alot of posts but I have to say I did find something on youtube today. It's only about 10 seconds of "Paradise" (though i doubt its really part of it), but no matter what it may be I CANNOT WAIT for Paradise, nor MX. Good days are to come. :D
