Dear Coldplaying Members, Hi! This is Anna (AnnaElisabeth), Mich (Mimixxx) and Laura (**Laura**) and we are here to tell you about something, we think, is very exciting! You may have noticed the nights are drawing in, the kids have gone back to school and “summer” (or what Britain call a summer) is on it’s way out so we thought it was time to think about Christmas! Almost a year ago Coldplay invited us to freeze our asses off on a boat for 5 hours and we thought we would invite you to freeze your asses off for 6 hours on a boat :P Fun huh? :awesome: All jokes aside one of the best things about that whole experience was meeting and hanging out with so many wonderful Coldplayers and we thought it might be a nice idea to commemorate it by throwing a Christmas party (Coldplaying is waaaay overdue an office Christmas party) We’ve provisionally booked the upstairs of a pub in London to host our Coldplaying Christmas Extravaganza. So what can you expect from this fabulous evening? Well our fine company to begin with :awesome: You’ll also get to meet other Coldplayers, which we’re sure are as awesome. But seriously we’ve met some of our closest friends through Coldplaying and we always look forward to every get together. We have some really exciting things planned for the evening including; karaoke, festive fun, goodie bags, prizes and the world's hardest Coldplay quiz plus much, much more! Interested? Well here’s everything you need to know: • Date: Saturday 3rd December at 7.00 GMT • Location: Will be provided to members attending. • Numbers: We’re limited to a party of 50 on a first come, first serve basis. • Obviously with it being a pub you need to be 18 to attend (we will not take responsibility if you cannot prove to the staff that you are over 18) • As much as we’d love to (and failing a lottery win :P) we cannot do this for free so tickets are £10 each (payable in advance). • A two course festive meal will also be provided at an additional cost of only £12 (menu provided on request) • You may be able to bring a +1 but please contact us to ask us first as places are limited and to ensure they are on the guestlist. • What? There’s a guestlist? ‘Fraid so, we have to ensure we keep control of numbers. • We’re obviously unable to provide transport into London and accommodation (again, unless we win the lottery beforehand) • (please also note that this is a Coldplaying meet up, so don’t expect to walk in and see Chris Martin sipping a herbal tea whilst belting out All I Want For Christmas Is You on the karaoke) If you wish to attend or have any questions please contact this account ASAP, with it being Christmas demand for venues is high so we would need to put the deposit down within the next week.
