  1. Just to add my 2 cents, this show was epic! I really don't know what got into me, but I was so full of energy for this one so I didn't stop jumping and dancing and singing for the entire show. It didn't hurt that the person that was supposed to be next to me in my garden box didn't show up so I had some extra room. The people around me were all very cool and into the show. I even got to dance with a celebrity to VLV, although I didn't know it at the time. I just thought she was one of those thin pretty women you see in LA. Thanks for the advice Dianne on making it to the B and C stages for those parts of the set. I just ran up and hung out in the boxes in those areas during those parts of the set and the folks in those boxes were totally cool. I'm right over Will's shoulder in Dianne's vid of UATW. I never thought any show would compare to Club Nokia, but this came awfully close.
  2. Pretty awesome Dianne! I'm gonna have to use that strategy on Friday night. Thanks for the pics. You always take such great pics!! Can't wait to see the rest.
  3. I totally agree with you on this. I never thought I'd get to hear Warning Sign live, ever. When they played it last night, both my wife and I were in tears and it was just as moving tonight. I know, guys aren't supposed to cry, but that song just gets me. Hey Dianne, where were you for the C stage performance?
  4. Wow, these pics are all so awesome!! Thanks for posting them up. It seems the universal theme in all of them is how happy the boys look. I love the fact that they're having so much fun without any sense of pretension. That's one of the reasons I adore this band!! I also agree that they look fantastic in black.
  5. I know I'm a little late to the party, but I've been doing a lot of driving today. Just want to re-emphasize the magnitude of joy that this show brought to me and all those who waited all dang day with me. I thought it appropriate that those of us who waited the longest actually got the best rail spots. I guess there is some Karmic justice out there. Special thanks to all the great Coldplayers that hung out with me. Major thanks to Jason for all of the pics and venue info. All of you guys were really great. This was the single best show that I've ever seen. The best band in the world in a tiny venue from the front row?? I never thought that would be possible, but in the end it was "such a perfect day!"
  6. Yeah I'm solo. Reasonably tall too so prolly don't wanna get stuck behind me :P I'm thinking I'm gonna get to the venue at 8 or 9 am.
  7. I'm in from about 500 miles away and I have a pit ticket so I'm gonna at least go and scope it out pretty early. Staying at a hotel a mile or so away so I figure I can just walk it.
  8. I like that it says, "may be required to present:"
  9. I didn't realize you could do that with TM. The purchase was kinda convoluted for me anyways. My wife had two other people working on tickets while both she and I were. We both got tix, but got the dreaded error. It was a friend of hers that actually completed the deal. I'll figure some way to work it out. This is too special an opportunity to let go without a fight.
  10. PEOPLE MOOOVING ALL THE TIME INSIDE PERFECTLY STRAIGHT LINES DON'T YOU WANNA JUST CURVE AWAY
  11. Actually, it doesn't. We're kinda weird and keep entirely separate accounts. Called the venue and they said to call TM as they only gain access to the tickets on the day of show. I'm a little nervous about talking to TM only because some service rep may say something that doesn't turn out to be true. I suppose worst case I could have someone impersonate my wife if it came to it. Any volunteers? :wink3: Also means I'll have to commandeer her license and credit card for a few days. :laugh3:
  12. Us Against the World. Seems to be that song all the time for me lately.
  13. GreenBee replied to seventens's topic in Coldplay
Seems like the the best album for each individual is the one that got them into Coldplay. May wind up being MX for you. I remember hearing Yellow for the first time and just falling in love. That said, ROBTTH is the one that i still feel is the best. The end of Politik never ceases to amaze me.
  14. I'm crazy stupid excited about 1st, 2nd, and 4th. Going to all three. Starting towards the back on night one, Terrace box on night two making my way to Garden box for Friday night. :D Man, I can't wait.
  15. Hey y'all! I've been lurking around here for quite a while so I decided it's about time to get involved. I'm super exited for the upcoming NA shows, especially Club Nokia, and need to share my excitement with some other CP nerds.
  16. Hey guys. It looks like some of you guys are socal experts so I'm gonna ask y'all. First, anyone have any experience with tickets that were purchased by someone else? My super cool wife got me a $300 pit ticket for my birthday and I'm paranoid about being able to get it from will call window since it will be me trying to pick it up and not her. I'm extra paranoid cuz I'm driving my butt all the way from Tucson for this. I'll be destroyed if something goes wrong. This is my dream show.
