At their first German concert of their international open air tour in Cologne the pop-band Coldplay has shown an almost perfect performance. The four englismen thrilled the 45,000 spectators in the sold-out RheinEnergieStadion with a dynamic and creative show. The band played songs from their latest album Mylo Xyloto as well as some classics from their previous albums. On their international tour Coldplay will only play in big arenas under the open sky. The other concerts in Germany will take place in Leipzig, Munich and Hanover. Tomorrow there will be more on the concert at report-k.de.

OK, I'll try my best: A day of big shows in Cologne. Because the British band Coldplay with lead singer and Cologne-loving Chris Martin were in the "cathedral city" ("Domstadt" is a nickname of Cologne because of it's famous cathedral), too. But many fans didn't get to see the beginning with fireworks and many colourful lights because they were stuck in an absolute traffic chaos around the stadium. For that reason they also missed the colourful lights. Because every spectator received a glowing wristband in red, green, yellow or blue at the entrance. Chris Martin and his colleagues were cool as usual, played many songs from their recent album Mylo Xyloto. Of course they got to sing the old classics eventually. Most of the 43,000 spectators in the sold-out arena have forgotten the stress from the congestion by then.
